Your trip shows its flights in and out, "Getting there" and "Heading home". • Explore any city on your route to see where you're staying and the places you've pinned there. The route steps aside so the city has room. Never miss a journey between stays VOIA now spots the gaps in your route and lists the journeys still to add. Fill one in a tap, or mark it as not needed. Share your trips • Share any trip itinerary as a link. Friends can view it, copy it and plan their own version. • Save itineraries you like to Me, Saved itineraries. • Ask a traveler you follow to share their itinerary with you. • Shared links now show the places the traveler pinned. Talk to Tom Message VOIA's founder directly from the app, with questions, ideas or feedback. Tom reads every message. Notifications Get notified about new trip chat messages and replies from Tom. Privacy Only trip members can see a trip in full. Everyone else sees a public version. Fixes and improvements • The keyboard no longer covers the message box on Android. • Countries are recognised by any common name, like "USA", and territories show up correctly everywhere. • Round flags now show in full. ### 2.4.1 — 2026-10-17 The biggest VOIA update yet. Planning trips with friends, saving the places you love and keeping up with your travel circle all got a lot better. PLAN TOGETHER IN TRIP CHAT • Every trip now has its own group chat, right from the navbar. • Ask @voia for destinations, places to visit, hotels and ways to get around, then add its suggestions to your trip in one tap. • Mention your travel buddies, suggest places and run quick polls. • New date vote: everyone marks the days they're free and VOIA finds the best windows for the group. • Agree on how many nights the trip should last, even before the dates are set. • Changes to the trip show up in the chat so nobody misses a thing. MY PLACES • Save the spots you want to visit and the ones you've already been to, grouped by destination with photo mosaics and a mini map. • Add places by searching, from your photos, or by sharing a Google Maps or Apple Maps link straight into VOIA. • Places you loved are shared with the people who follow you. • Every place and destination now has its own page. LOCAL GUIDES • Become a local guide for the cities you know best, including where you were born. • Pick your favourite spots and help other travelers discover them. A NEW EXPLORE • Explore is now a globe of the places travelers loved. • Search sits front and centre: just tell us where you're going. ME AND MY MAP • Profile is now Me, with a simple Profile | Map switch. • My map brings together your countries, cities and places in one view. • Add the places you've lived to build your own home timeline. A SIMPLER HOME • Today is now part of Home: one feed with a story strip on top. • New rings at the top: Traveling now shows which friends are on the move, plus Ask Travelers, My guides and My moments. • Your next or current trip is always one tap away. MORE SOCIAL • A new notifications centre for likes, comments, follows and mentions. • Double tap to like, comment with @mentions and follow the threads you care about. • Tap a notification to jump straight to the post. • Ask Travelers: post a question and VOIA sends it to the people who've actually been there. TRIPS AND EXPENSES • New Points of interest tab with a destination rail to filter your trip's places. • Filter expenses by category and switch between Total and Per Person. • Commute expenses now follow their journey legs. • Visits can end in the future, so a trip in progress is logged as it happens. FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS • Fixed a freeze when opening sheets from Home. • Smoother sign in with Apple. • Fixed a crash when adding a destination from a suggestion. • Notifications you open now stay marked as read. • Moment highlights now show your latest uploads first. • Plenty of smaller polish and performance improvements. Thanks for traveling with VOIA. Got feedback? We'd love to hear it. ### 2.0.5 — 2026-08-06 - add premium plans - small bug fixing ### 2.0.4 — 2026-07-29 - introducing Trip Chat for trips with multiple participants - allow 50 territories to be logged as country/territory visits ### 1.11.5 — 2026-06-24 - Introducing Profile Completeness - View Visited Places in My World Tab - Keep your country visits auto synced ## Apps similar to VOIA | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Trekr: Group Trip Planner](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/trekr-group-trip-planner/id6786053830) | — | Free | Travel | | [Country Stamp - Travel Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/country-stamp-travel-tracker/id6761352809) | — | Free | Travel | | [AI Trip Plan: smart map travel](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/ai-trip-plan-smart-map-travel/id6754770853) | — | Free | Travel | | [Beenzy](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/beenzy/id6794608523) | — | Free | Travel | | [Travel Map: Countries Visited](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/travel-map-countries-visited/id6764035619) | — | Free | Travel | | [Maprat: Track Travels on Map](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/maprat-track-travels-on-map/id6787425187) | — | Free | Travel | ## More apps by Tomas Albuquerque - [Not One More: Quit Nicotine](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/not-one-more-quit-nicotine/id6801569605) All apps by Tomas Albuquerque: https://appshunter.io/developer/1820209043 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
