## What is Voice Alarm?

Voice Alarm is the alarm clock that talks to you. Type, dictate or record a message and the app will say it out loud at the exact time, instead of a beep.

NEW IN 2.0: YOUR CALENDAR, OUT LOUD
• Connect your iPhone Calendar and see your appointments in the app.
• Choose which appointments remind you by voice: "Dentist, in 30 minutes".
• As an alarm, it rings even with your iPhone on silent or Do Not Disturb.
• Your events never leave your iPhone.

ALARMS WITH YOUR MESSAGE
• Write what you want to hear: "Lunch with friends today", "Take your pill"…
• Or dictate it, record it in your own voice or pick an audio.
• Rings even when your iPhone is on silent or locked.
• Once, every week or on a specific date.
• Your next alarm, always on top, with its countdown.

TIMERS THAT TALK TO YOU
• For cooking, workouts, studying or resting.
• When they finish, they say whatever you want.
• Countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

BIRTHDAYS
• Save them or import them from your Contacts.
• We remind you on the day (or days before) so you never miss one.
• Send your wishes as a surprise alarm in your own voice, protected with a PIN, or as a ready-to-send WhatsApp message.
• Birthday messages in Spanish, Catalan, English and Portuguese.

CALENDAR
• Alarms, birthdays and appointments for the month at a glance, with Apple's design.
• "Upcoming" tab with everything ahead.

NATURAL VOICES
• Use the best voices on your iPhone.
• Adjust the speed, volume and the sound between phrases.

Widgets, quick access and alarms shared with friends and family.

Available in Spanish, Catalan, English and Portuguese.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-11-04

What's new in version 2.1:

• Backup: save your alarms, timers, birthdays, recordings and photos to a file and restore them whenever you want.
• If you delete the app by accident, you can recover your data when you reinstall it: an automatic, encrypted copy is kept in your iPhone's Keychain.
• Zodiac signs are back on birthday cards.
• New languages: French, Italian and German, including birthday greetings.
• Fixed: the plans screen no longer closes by itself when creating an alarm.

### 2.0 — 2026-10-20

Voice Alarm 2.0: our biggest update yet.

NEW
• iPhone Calendar: your appointments show up in the app and, if you like, it reads each one out loud before it starts, even with your iPhone on silent.
• Calendar redesigned in Apple's style, with a clear agenda for each day.
• Today summary at the top of Alarms: next alarm, today's appointments, running timer and birthdays.
• Your next alarm always comes first.
• Birthday wishes in Spanish, Catalan, English and Portuguese.
• New "Timbre" sound between phrases.

EASIER
• Creating an alarm is quicker: the title is optional and you choose "Once", "Every week" or a date.
• Message as text, your recording or an audio from "My audios", and the app remembers what you prepared in each option.
• Shorter forms, with the less-used settings under "More options".
• A simpler birthday screen and a clear notice of what's missing when you save.

Stability improvements and fixes.

Thanks for using Voice Alarm!

### 1.9 — 2026-10-17

Birthdays are here!

• New Birthdays tab: save birthdays or import them from your Contacts, and the app will remind you so you never miss one.
• Send your wishes your way: a surprise alarm with your own voice that rings on their phone on their birthday, or a ready-made WhatsApp message you send with one tap.
• New quick-access widget to create an alarm or a timer from your Home Screen.
• Received surprise alarms now open with a neon effect.
• Fully available in English, Catalan and Portuguese, and dictation recognizes your language.

Improvements and fixes:
• One-time alarms now switch off by themselves after ringing.
• Delete confirmation right on the card.
• Clearer design: every tab now shares the same header, an easier-to-read calendar legend and a simpler birthday form.
• The loud birthday alarm now rings even while the app is open.
• Snoozing from the Lock Screen is no longer cancelled when you open the app.
• Fixed: in some cases subscribers' alarms appeared switched off when opening the app.
• Plans show the actual price for your country.
• Stability improvements.

Thanks for using Alarma con Voz!

### 1.8 — 2026-09-23

Surprise alarm improvements and fixes:

• Expired surprises: if you receive a surprise alarm whose time has already passed, it opens right away (no PIN). You can see and save it immediately, no waiting.
• You can leave a received surprise alarm switched off and it won't ring; it still unlocks on its own once its date arrives.
• Fixed the card color: editing an alarm now keeps the color you chose (it used to reset to blue).
• Stability improvements.

Thanks for using Alarma con Voz!

### 1.7 — 2026-09-22

Improvements to surprise alarms:

• Save a surprise alarm's image to your gallery: once it's unlocked, tap the save button on the card (or long-press the card) to keep the photo you were sent.
• Better preview when opening a shared file: you'll see a clear card that tells you how to add it to Alarma Voz.
• Surprise alarms now unlock on their own after ringing, even if they rang while the app was closed.
• Snooze fixed on surprise alarms: tapping "Snooze" stops the sound and it rings again after the set minutes, without repeating early.
• In the calendar, received alarms show a "Surprise" badge and who they're from, even after they've rung.
• Fixes to received-audio playback and stability improvements.

Thanks for using Alarma con Voz!
