## What is voice bot?

Voice bot is a real time channel vocoder. A vocoder takes the spectral information of one sound also known as a modulator and uses it to shape another sound called a carrier. The resulting sound is a bit like a singing robot. Use the microphone to play live or record your own loops for playback, with a few different trigger modes using the keyboard. Further process the sound with a bit and sample crusher, delay and flanger. Play with the built in 25 key dynamic keyboard or using core MIDI with options for MPE. Run voice bot stand alone on iPad and iPhone or as a AUv3 plugin in your favourite host. Connections to other apps are also available through Audiobus and Inter Appp Audio.

I want to like this but I’ve never been able to make it work. Some info in the help about how to set it up in Cubasis 3 for example would be very helpful. There is nothing on you tube either. Can anybody out there oblige ?

Great sounding app, easy to get modern understandable vocoded speech and singing from this. I even got professional sounding results from the built in mic!

But it’s not working in Cubasis 3 under the latest IOS.  A bit disappointed.  I can see huge fun potential here.  But not for me, for now…

All works fine apart from when you have it as an AUV3 in cubasis 2 And select one of the presets it stops working you have to mess around with the input slider and the mic on and off and then it will start working again
