How it works:

Say the name of an item, and Voice Counter will keep its score automatically.

Tap the screen to count manually, or use the built‑in Speech Recognizer to listen for item names and track them for you.

I love this counter. It’s so easy to use and straight forward. You can create as many groups as you need to keep count for several different items at once. It works off of voice command as well as tap screen. The only thing is is that you have to almost yell the name of the item you are keeping track of if there is background noise such as a tv playing even if it is not loud. If it is quiet with now background noise the voice works extremely well and you don’t have to yell the name of the item to keep count. You also have to repeat the name of the item sometimes to wake the app up if it has sat longer than let’s say 30 seconds or so. With a few tweaks this will be a top notch app. For 99 cents it is still worth it because of the ease of use and the features on it. Thanks dev for this one!!

An amazing big update!

For a long time the app was limited to just a few items, but now we’ve rolled up our sleeves and decided to take the challenge — and you can finally count more than 4 items at once, with support for up to 10 items. FINALLY.

We kept the amazing UI. It still looks great in both portrait and landscape mode, just like before. We’re really happy about how this turned out.

All of this comes after the last update that added support for personal colors (in the Settings screen, tap the “Unlock New Colors” button).

We also added support for more languages, so now you can count in Korean, Spanish, and Japanese.

We hope you enjoy the new features and colors, and as always, we would love any feedback.

This feature has been long-requested and waiting in the pipeline. I'm so happy to announce... drum roll... COLORS! 
Now you can choose whatever color you want for the counting background. To open this new feature, there is a button in the settings screen called 'Unlock New Colors (1 min survey)'. Follow the super short questions and after that, you will get the ability to change colors. 
All you need to do is tap the color circle next to the item name and you will be presented with the color picker. If you want to bring back the original colors, you can delete the item and add it back with the original color. Have fun!
