This was an excellent up until that point. When the app developers fix this I will come back and give it a higher rating and review; I rated it back before whatever happened to make this app screwed up it would've been far higher than two stars but as of right now to stars is being generous. ### 4/5 — Good editing *2017-03-07, version 1.2* The Dictation interface works great. I've been using Dragon dictation for years now. This week I looked into switching because of a malfunction with Dragon dictation. I bought this app to give it a whirl. This app receives points for allowing onscreen edits, much easier than Dragon dictation. This app gets deducted points because so far I haven't figured out how to email the notes, dragon dictation makes that easy (although that is the current malfunction). These apps make my life possible! I'm a start a founder and have a very busy head. ### 1/5 — Voice dictation *2017-01-13* I should have read the reviews. I just speak my thoughts and they are saved. You don't have to worry about losing your work, it is stored even if you close the app. I like to write out all my papers first and then type them which is time consuming. But, now with the help of this app, I just read my paper to it and Bam, there it is typed! I, then, email it to myself and make a few corrections as I re-read it. For those of us that type like ten words a minute, this is a must have app! Also, each dictated 'note' is saved in this app as a separate piece of paper which can be accessed later. Many similar apps erase and start over when you are done. Because of this, you can even use this app as a voice journal if you start each note with the current date. Later, you could export each journal page to a professional journaling app once you decide which one to use. This really is a powerful app. [Note to developers - You could expand this into a spinoff 'Voice Journal' app with a bit of tweaking of the file name matching the current date and the addition of a calendar display, etc. I'd but it!] This app is excellent. Unlike many of the speech to text apps out there on the market, this one allows you to add to the text you have already entered. You simply speak, wait, read, then tap the record button again to add to what you've already entered. The text is entered in what looks like the sheet of paper, and when you're done, as I am with this review which I am speaking right now, you simply tap the export button, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it in the review!
