I am a radiologist and this picks up most words really well. However, I report in stages and make adjustments as I dictate. At the moment when you have finished a dictation you cannot go back and continue adding to it. AAAARGH. ### 4/5 — Wow! Now I’m a believer! *2018-06-13* I must’ve used nearly the entire panoply of Nuance Dragon dictation applications on PC, Apple Mac and, more recently, on both my iPhone and my iPad with the Dragon Anywhere app. The PC and Mac versions are hideously expensive, whilst the ios versions require a monthly payment. I downloaded this app about a hundred years ago, didn’t believe for one instant that it used the Nuance speech to text engine, and so, apart from the odd boredom induced dalliance I ignored it. However, on looking at this app more closely, I’m astonished to find that it’s accuracy is at least reminiscent of the Dragon products—and this with an inadequate front-end. I have a few queries: 1 Do Nuance let anybody incorporate their speech to text engine into their apps. 2. Does this app have access to the latest version of the Nuance speech to text engine or is it languishing with an old version. 3. It didn't, fair enough. However, I have to let you people know that it literally got easily 75% or more of the words dictated completely wrong. The paragraph was completely undistinguishable from what was spoken. I speak clear, Midwestern English that is easily identified by my Siri app on my iPhone. The payment was made and 30 sec later it doesn’t work. I am presently surprised how accurate it is stop I am actually writing this review have after dictating it to the app itself . it can handle the accent of individual countries . I am using it with an Indian accent as much as I can.
