Works well. I did a device swap and number change to my apple watch yesterday. Went to reinstall and it wouldn't work. Emailed Damian (Developer) and had a response within a few hours. During the interim I went to a Apple Store to seek help, I was having trouble with a couple of other issues. It turned out to be a Apple ID problem. Although I got it fixed Damian (Developer) was on top of it, offering his help. This is my favorite kind of third-party app: one that integrates -- as much as possible -- the products of two competitors who often try to lock each other out at the expense of their respective customers. The developer of the app is also one of those who will take time to help you over any hurdles you have with using it as opposed to some who respond by saying "sorry you're having a bad experience. Have a nice day." I've got a lot of "take 'em or leave 'em" apps on my watch but this ain't one of them. The fact that you don’t have to say Alexa it’s great, and many adjustments and icon changes. I just hope no server working with my data in the background. And also suggest the same as other user just change the name to assistant or something like that because even having the app I have to look out again the name to write a review ### 4/5 — Great app *2023-10-27, version 2.13* Apple and Amazon don’t always play nicely and now IFTTT doesn’t support Alexa at all, so there’s no way for users to have their Alexa lists on their wrists. This inventive and responsive developer has an elegant solution that allows users to access their lists on their Apple Watch. Sometimes it doesn’t. Emailed developer and Apple and heard nothing back. As for the developer he finally reached out and made it quite known he has tens of thousands of customers. Wow!!! Good for you. I bought the app installed it and followed the instructions to the letter. After several attempts to connect, I still receive an error indicating a bad URL. It never connects again until I remove the app from my watch and then re-register it. But it will only work for a couple weeks and then I have to start all over again (remove, re-register using a new code). Sad to learn it went end-of-life *2025-08-30, version 2.18* I’m sad to learn that this niche, but super useful app has gone end-of-life due to changes at Amazon and their Alexa Voice Service. The app worked every bit as well as any other Alexa voice speaker that I had, and let me access my Alexa voice functions without having to go through the buggy and ever-changing Alexa app. It was a nice bonus that I felt like I had better control of the microphone in the Voice in a Can app than I do with the official app. It looks like Amazon, at some point in 2024, stood up a new Works With Alexa certification program for things such as Tizen apps and such to act as an Alexa device. I don’t know if it’s worth the effort for D. to pursue that, but I’m grateful to them for maintaining this app for so long. ### 5/5 — Alexa for Apple Watch *2024-12-14, version 2.18* Can’t complain.
