I have been using it for the last couple of years. It’s easy to upload tracks to other places, I use Google Drive and they are saved their permanently. The sound quality is good, all the functions are user-friendly, highly recommend for singers, songwriters, writers, etc.      ‍ ### 5/5 — I love this app and have used it for years! *2023-07-06* My yoga guru allows me to record his practices, so if I’m on vacation, I can always have a practice. I have many yoga practices recorded, and have never lost any through all the phone changes through the years. I’ve also recorded my kids playing guitar and piano. It looks like an old tape recorder, so we, who once upon a time were proud owners of that box, know exactly what to do (without reading many pages of instructions). And quality of the recording is amazing. I recorded a Christmas concert in a gothic church in Europe and it has it all, the singing, the acoustic, instruments. However, for what it’s worth and I’ve had this app for almost a year now, this app is great. I use to to take recording notes as reminders and I can listen to notes my training coach sends me via email. I asked our new pastor used the app on my phone to record his sermon today... And minutes after uploaded it the the church website... No editing required as his voice and delivery were also flawless. ‍ ### 5/5 — Fabulous Recorder for a Writer!    ‌   ​ *2023-07-05* Over the past two years, I’ve used this recorder to tape interviews that have appeared in major magazines and to tape interviews for my entire book, Women Make Arkansas: Conversations with 50 Creatives, which is coming out in April 2019. It is so simple to use and upload backups to the cloud, and interviewees have often remarked on the fun little 80s throwback appearance. I can’t imagine what more I’d want!  ‌ ### 5/5 — Malfunctions    ‍ *2023-07-05* This was a good app until lately, but now, It either won’t auto play what’s in the folders or if it does it will only auto play a few recordings then it just stops. It’s been doing this for a few weeks now which is irritating and clicking on the different options for playing doesn’t affect it at all. My I pad has been software updated but this also has not helped. I looked to see if this app had any updates but frankly this is one app I don’t think I’ve ever seen an update on. ‌ ### 5/5 — I love it! It’s simple. It’s easy to use and I use it all the time. It works flawless *2023-07-05* Seriously, it is so easy to use and I love that it looks a little bit old school with the spinning cassette wheels. Then I know it’s recording and I don’t just see the jumping audible line. :-) It’s super easy to pause stop and save recordings as well. And even to export MP3 or MP four. Overall, no complaints. I keep it on my home screen so I can quickly and easily record my podcast audio’s as topics come to me.   ​ ​ ### 5/5 — Professional Actor  ‍ ‍ *2023-07-05* I’m an actor, and I memorize hundreds of pages every year. (At this point in my career, 20 years, I tend to book supporting roles in larger films and leading roles in smaller ones.) I started using this app because it’s lean and it does what I need it to do, not the other way around like a lot of ‘rehearsal’ apps. 1. Get it. 2. Read and record only the other character’s lines from your script. *Leave room for your lines by reading them SLOWLY to yourself.* 5. Play it back and run your lines a MINIMUM of 50 times. ‘Til you’re sick of them. (Hopkins does 300. Seriously.) 6. Re-record as you get faster and the words teach you what they mean. Don’t ever... EVER... be anything but the most off-book AND connected actor to walk into the room. You can do that with this app. If you do nothing but that, you will book. Do the research, write       ​ ### 5/5 — Super handy- missing one key feature   ‌ ‍ *2023-07-05* So I have tested lots of recorder apps over the years this one proves to be the best, most consistent, at least crashes and best recording quality as well as ability to share across apps as well as in the cloud or directly via a web link to your computer. The only thing I would modify, and consider this the begging request of a devoted customer, is an apple watch app! I really wish I could start this recording without having to touch my phone or be obvious about it. Oh and PS I recently did the upgrade to use the transcriber services and they are fantastic. We were waiting 3 months fir a resolution to our question. I finally called and the entire wait conversation took 58 minutes. I had the app on pause while I listened to their annoying recording but when I finally spoke to someone and ended the conversation I didn’t take a picture of the time spent waiting but when I looked at the recording to save it it showed the actual time I spent from start to finish.      ​​‌ ### 5/5 — THE BEST RECODER ON IPHONE *2023-06-29* I am a musician and I often like to remix my favorite songs and I cannot record and listen to my music on Any other recoding app believe me I’ve tried and for this simple reASŌn I will share your app with all of my friends who might use it to write an audio book or keep a journal or organize their life when there is a lot to remember and do and sitting and writing isn’t an option this app is so useful and I am really honestly greatful that that decision was made becasue I could not live without that feature as an musician. It’s easy to use, I like the way it was designed appearance wise, and it does what it supposed to do. Whatever app I was using from my iPhone, I was not clear as to how to save it with a name that I chose. Everything was coming up with where ID of the recording versus allowing me to give it a proper name. So this app allows me to save it with the name I choose and then when I upload it to my email, I’m actually able to download it without having to go back in on the computer and change the name. I love it! ### 5/5 — A Godsend of an App​   ​ *2023-06-29* I had extremely important class lectures trapped in Apple’s voice memos. Imported them to This app with intuitive ease. I dreaded wasting a day at the Apple store trying to import my lectures to my pc without losing them. Never use Apple Voice Memos. It’s purposely limited as is iTunes. 10 years ago iTunes was simple. Click and drag songs, ringtones, view apps, etc. Now, it’s nearly impossible. They tire you out so you say “eff it, I’ll just buy it from Apple. It’s only 99 cents.” Apple nickel and dimes it’s loyal customers into oblivion. Never again. Next phone’s a droid. ‌ ‌ ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 5/5 — Thank you so much!!!! Initially I used it to learn lines for acting work, but I’ve expanded it to take notes in meetings, and when I go with friends to Doctor appts; in both of the last 2 uses I don’t have to worry about accuracy, and I can stay present and engaged. Not only did it catch nearly every word spoken (in some noisy contexts), but as an ap it was unobtrusive and no one was disturbed by the constant reminder that they were being recorded. I recorded birds singing and chirping, to play for my dad who was dying, and this calm him down to sleep.
