## What is Voice Notes?

Hit record on a meeting, a lecture, or a thought in the car, and get back a full transcript and a short, structured summary — not another audio file you will never open again.

AI Note Taker does the transcribing and the thinking on your iPhone. Speech becomes text through Apple's on-device speech engine, and that text is then analyzed with Apple's Natural Language framework to surface the parts you actually needed: what was decided, who has to do what, what the conversation was about, and how it felt. No account, no sign-up, no note server holding your recordings.

Recordings, transcripts and notes are stored in the app on your device. Transcription runs on-device through Apple's Speech framework whenever the model is available for the language you pick, and the summary and analysis are computed locally on your iPhone. There are no accounts and no ads. The only time the app reaches the internet is when you paste a video link and ask it to pull that video's public captions.
