I’m 22 now. I have a deep/androgynous voice according to most people but this app says otherwise. It’s good if you want to see your progress on hormones but otherwise it will whoop your self confidence into an oblivion. But remember regardless of what any app says you are absolutely valid and deserve to feel comfortable, accepted and respected for your identity. I love that it doesn't tell me what to do -- just an objective review of what I sound like, so I can track changes as they occur naturally. I love that they use old science fiction passages -- I know that is probably because they are royalty free but it's nice. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I’m confused and frustrated *2026-03-05, version 2.4.3* This app won’t work for me. I even tried doing a comically low voice and it still gave me high female range. This app did literally nothing but make my dysphoria worse. ### 1/5 — Premium option doesn’t work *2025-07-03, version 2.4.3* Bought the premium version so I could upload audio and it won’t let me upload anything and I can’t find an faq or requirements or any help. Total waste of money :( ### 1/5 — Literally works in reverse *2025-06-02, version 2.4.3* I got this app to test how my femvoice sided, but was shocked to find that it doesn’t work whatsoever. I tried my regular voice and got solidly within the male spectrum (no surprises there - I’m a bass II voice). However, when using my femvoice, it was registered as EVEN lower on the scale. AND THEN, to test it, I did one passage where I spoke in a consciously lower voice, and scored HIGHER than the other two. And to top it all off, I sang in SUBHARMONICS (singing technique to hit extra low notes) and got an even higher pitch. I use it passively over weeks and weeks. Nothing too serious, just for my own personal insight into how others "might" be perceiving my voice since It's changed. I've been on T for 1yr 4 months. At the start of my transition, I just recorded my voice in videos singing a favorite song on my phone to compare for later. I sure wish I did this ap from the start! It picks up the little nuances and helps me see scale changes that are harder to perceive just listening to how my voice has changed so much. How cool to see somewhat quantitative data along with other qualitative data since my voice change😃! It's nothing ground shaking but it sure gives me insight into how my voice changes at different times of the day, when I'm more tired vs more awake and just how it's changed in a few weeks. Very very thoughtful and nice ap, thank you for creating this! I wish my endocrinologist would have recommended I use this when I started T! Very very cool! I’d say it’s accurate because it’s the same and it’s similar to other results in other voice analyzing apps I’ve tried. It shows you the lowest, your median, and the highest your voice goes.
