Also says it’s Audiobus compliant but couldn’t open it in Quantioop pro or Audiobus. Kind of useless really. Another $10 down the toilet. By the way I am running latest iPad and IOS so it’s a problem with the app. Maybe they will find someone who can make it work properly. Won’t hold my breath though. ### 4/5 — Working, but needs update *2022-12-25* It takes a couple of reloads to get this loaded on my iPad DAW. After it loads it works great though. Is this a known issue? And if so is there a fix planned for the future? ### 1/5 — Presets can’t be changed.... *2019-09-30* So after spending the $5 bucks, found it has zero info on how to change the presets, and after playing with it for about 30 mins. doesn’t seem like the presets can be changed. So I sent a message to they’re tech support site, and sure enough no response! Presets are lost nice you close the app. The same thing happens whe you use it in Cubasis or VoiceJamStudio app ### 4/5 — I’m hopeful for continued development *2019-09-01, version 2.0.3* This is good and I wish they would continue making more effects apps. The market here is thin and more of these just mean more ‘brushes I can paint with’. The app isn’t perfect but is perfectly useable. The audio quality could be improved, or at least the noise floor of the app could come down. It would be neat if the midi actually did something. All I can tell is that data is coming in. I can’t seem to get it follow the key of my input. I don’t think the app supports this, but then why is midi here? To lock the time? Ableton link support seems reasonably easy to implement as its supported on a lot of other apps. Maybe this one is too old? Thanks for making this. Now I have iPhone X and it doesn’t allow me to connect voice rack fix to garage band. This needs to be sorted by the developers. Logged a support call about a year ago and not much happened in the way of fixing it. Not sure what else I can do other than leave a review here ### 2/5 — Extremely buggy *2019-02-20* I love it when it works, but I literally can’t go three minutes without either the GUI disappearing, enlarging, or not responding. I’m a professional producer and engineer working completely on my iPad. Up until now, I have been working on last years iPad Pro in an app called “DAW”, never had a problem. However, I recently purchased the brand new iPad Pro and now the voice rack doesn’t work. Does anyone have any solutions ? ### 2/5 — In need of an update *2018-11-17* Things seem to work. The effects do work. But wow, is this thing in need of an upgrade. It looks like it was designed with the iPad first released. Extremely outdated design, with very little manual control over the effects. Good thing there are 50 of them. Also, it has preset banks (A,B,C,D) but I can assign any of them with the effects I want easy access to. So while I have 50 effects to choose from, I can’t assign them to the banks. But once you dial in your settings within a preset and add it to your track, it’s only there while you’ve got that file open. As soon as you close the file and open it back up to get back to work, all the settings reset to default. Very disappointing. Even without reopening the file after closing, if you simply bounce the song to a wav or mp3, the rendered song file has all default settings. How can this still be a problem? This could be one of the best auv3 plug ins around if this problem was solved. ### 1/5 — This used to be my GO TO; please update *2021-01-20* This app was my bread and butter, but now it doesn’t work nor load in any of my audio files, so now I can’t export any music I have used with this plug-in. This app will not work if you do not have WIRED headphones. Why can’t the app just work without headphones. Even the cheap free voice changer apps work without headphones. This is supposed to be a better sophisticated software which cost money!! You can’t even use it on your IPhone. ### 1/5 — Worthless on phones without jack *2020-01-05, version 2.0.3* This app will not work on a phone without a headphone jack. That pretty much rules out any iPhone in production. You’ll need an adapter. Bluetooth is a no go. ### 1/5 — Is this app ever going to get support? *2019-12-18* Bugs. A lot of them. I used to love this app but constant crashes have made it unusable. TC H has some of the best vocal processing hardware out there but their apps leave something to be desired. I own so many apps it is not funny and beta test many as well- so I know a bit about iOS audio apps. This app is just not stable enough for me to ever try to use it in a live setting. That is a shame. If any of the three TCH apps I own get an update in the next few months I will change my review. 👌🏽 ### 1/5 — No longer supported stay away. *2019-12-12, version 2.0.3* I’ve contacted them about AUV3 bug but despite promises it’s still crippled after 2 years. Pity because it has smoke good effects. I’m guessing they’re protecting their hardware sales. Use it on the singing voice to add shine and character. Use it on spoken voice for voice acting including changing your voice for different characters. PLEASE UPDATE!!!!!!! ### 5/5 — Surprisingly versatile! *2018-10-17* First off: this app works as an AU effect, meaning you can load up multiple instances of it in Audiobus if you want to chain its different effects. (Audiobus is a good bet if you want to record into Garageband, as well - just make GB the output device.) Beyond that: hey, it's a great (and contained) clearinghouse of studio quality vocal effects! And, even better, it's actually a useful/quirky multi-FX unit no matter what the instrument. The "Hard Tune" Autotune clone does more or less what you expect on vox, but also emphasizes some novel aspects of my MV08 beats; similarly, its various "megaphone" settings can be used to smash an acoustic guitar into "Wish You Were Here" territory, all with the weirdly comforting transparency that marks most of TC's products. It's not the most essential purchase I've ever made - I was already drowning in IAAs and AUs that did most of what it does - but as a pro quality all-in-one vocal lab that does a myriad of things very well, it's well worth the cup of coffee it costs.
