Of course the app didn't have what I needed. I would like a refund. ### 4/5 — Great app for old iPhone 4 *2016-01-20, version 2.3* I love this app and I use it everyday. It's great if You have an old iPhone 4 without Siri abilities. Add your favorite peoples' phone numbers to the sidebar. Speak and it converts speech to text. Sends the text msg through your messages app in the background. Some people don't understand dictation: If you want punctuation, you simply speak what you require, such as "question mark", or "period", or "comma", and it will insert it. ### 4/5 — Awsome application *2015-02-15, version 2.1* Very practical and effective Application althought need a quite bit improvement as far speech recognition. It detects my voice and converts it to sms very easily but I gave it 3 stars because what's the real purpose of this app? Apple has built voice to text in iMessages already and it works just as good as this app if not better. Yes the app works fine but theres really no advantage to using this over the built in feature in iMessage. ### 3/5 — Good voice recognition *2014-12-23, version 2.1* The voice recognition is very good for the App. The info about the app states it's one touch to send an SMS; however, on an iPhone you still have to press send. With an iPhone, I don't see much advantage via this app because I can use iMessage with voice messaging capabilities. Being able to store key contacts is helpful. ### 4/5 — Great *2014-09-16, version 1.9* I'm using the app to dictate this review. I have two other apps that do the same thing. I had even more but some of them quit working. Apparently this one is just for texting. The others have the option to email or simply copy and paste. Though this one doesn't have it, you can still do it the normal way -double tap and hold. This one has very good voice recognition; I have not had to correct any words. However, this one says it has automatic grammar correction. I don't see how any app can do that; it merely types the words you speak. Overall, a very good app. But it should add the simple copy and paste function, so you can use it for notes. ### 5/5 — Impressive *2014-08-16, version 1.8* Wow. I dislike texting and this sure makes the process easier. Used to have my 14 year old daughter set up my electronic stuff. $200 if caught texting and 4 point against your license. Long overdo in my opinion. Still a few bugs, but better than my typing. Thanks guys since we seem to be reduced to Twitting, Facebook and such. Works great in English, but I have a bit of a regional accent. I will enter the 21st century whether I want to or not. A bit of tweeting and this will be perfect. It understands every word you speak clearly and it very rarely if any messes up what you say. Cool thing is if you want to end a sentence just say period, exclamation, or question and it puts that mark in for you. Once you add your contact, tap it, it won't pick up your voice to type a message. I clicked "help" only to see that they want you to purchase another app for voice recognition for $4.99?!!! Huge rip off. I bought this app for my mom who has severe arthritis so that she could text us. She has an iPhone 4 that doesn't have speech to text or Siri! Deeply disappointed. I'm contacting Apple as we speak for a refund and submitted feedback to them about this scam app. ### 1/5 — Very poor *2014-04-13, version 1.7* I was highly impressed with this app when i purchased it. It worked almost flawlessly. After sending about 6 txt messages it stopped sending messages. I spent $2.00 on this app and DO NOT RECOMMEND IT UNTIL THEY HAVE FIXED THOS PROBLEM. i am using an iphone 4 running ios 7.1 i am only giving this app 1 star because it is making me. Otherwise it would get 0 stars simply for taking peoples money!!!!! ### 1/5 — Ok app WHEN it works *2012-11-21, version 1.5* I really liked this app the first time I used it. Then I started getting this server error message and it would not work. Next day it was working great again ... good voice recognition. Then it started saying it couldn't connect to server and would not work. Every day since then I get the same error message. Newest problem with this app ... It cuts my sentences off and only puts the first word in. Or it puts in something completely different than what I actually said. Don't waste your time with this app it's a total waste of .99 cents ### 2/5 — This App Is a Scam *2015-01-24, version 2.1* I really enjoyed this app at first, I like the way it's set up it actually picks up on what you are saying with few errors or corrections it was a great app. Until I found out that after a certain number of texts they force you to purchase they're upgraded version. Granted it is not expensive but still was very irritating and disappointing to find out it was a scam. ### 2/5 — Not very accurate *2012-07-17, version 1.2* I thought autocorrect was frustrating. This app doesn't have the quality of voice recognition that I have seen in other apps. Super accurate, uses voice prompt punctuation, one step texting or calling using set shortcuts. Simple to navigate, set up, and use. I use it all the time for quick texts, even at home. The accuracy is almost 100%. As a professional software designer, I really understand the the work that goes into an app like this. It also installs a mic icon in the text app so you can use it without searching through all the app icons. Voice recognition is excellent, controls are spare and intuitive. Furthermore, the developer is responsive and open to feature requests. Most of the alternatives in the Store are just plain ugly or voice recognition is hit-or-miss. It's ALIVE!6686 *2014-12-24, version 2.1* I do not talk real clear. Many people have trouble understanding me on the phone. I figured it was a waste of time. I would have a long "training" period before the app could understand me, and there would be so many mistakes, I would just go back to typing. (Yup, I've been there before.) I was really needing an app that could do what this claimed, so I thought I would try this one and hope for the best. Once it installed, I started it up, and started talking. Not slow and precise…just fast and kind of slurred, like I normally talk. Every word I spoke popped up, and every one was exactly right. I kept it up, and talked my text to several people. Every time it was so correct, I haven't gotten over it yet. It is absolutely great.
