My iOS is up-to-date. There is no way to turn on the auto translation. I googled a lot of steps, but it references things that are not in the app. So this is no better than prior translation apps. You speak it, it translates in text, and then you have to push the speaker icon to get it to Voice the translation. The reason why I decided to try this app instead of Google Translate was that I thought the translated content would be voiced with my own voice. In einem Café in Italien konnte ich direkt über die Sprachfunktion bestellen, obwohl ich kein Wort Italienisch spreche – der Kellner lachte, aber es hat funktioniert. Die Kamera-Übersetzungsfunktion hilft mir bei Menüs und Schildern, und einmal sogar bei einem handgeschriebenen Tagesgericht. Offline-Sprachen sind im Flugmodus Gold wert.
