### 1/5 — Completely unhelpful

*2018-04-19*

This app is a completely useless, unhelpful, and is a total waste of money. I was sitting quietly and the app was registering 74 dB in a quiet room. If I spoke in a controlled, consciously modulated and soft voice, it went into the “red” zone. Peter, I expect a full refund. Thank you.

**Developer response:** Hi Mixcoac Man,
I am sorry to hear you are having this issue with the app. 74dB for a quiet room certainly seems to suggest there is an issue somewhere. There are external factors that can effect the accuracy of the dB reading. Could you please use the "Help" button we have included inside the app. Just tap "Help" and then "Email Us", this will send an email to me directly. I will be pleased to help resolve this issue for you if you are willing to work with me on this? The last thing I want is unhappy users, so of course I will be happy to refund you payment (if you prefer), but I would appreciate it if you could give me a chance to help resolve the issue with you first? The app has been primarily designed to work between 40dB and 99dB with adjustable sensitivity and upper/lower threshold limits. It is not a "Noise Meter" as such, it is a serious attempt to help users control their voice levels, and judging from the feedback we get it seems to have proved useful to most users. The dB read out was added in a recent release as the result of a user request, but is not the main function of the app (there are better apps to measure dB levels!). You will see on the setting screen these displays can be switched ON/OFF. In the next release of the app we are introducing a "Calibrate" button which will help "factor out" any background noise and only display the effect of the voice volume. This should be available as a free update in the next two weeks.

### 4/5 — Great App to help you stop talking loudly

*2017-05-17*

The app is simple to use and makes it easy to tell when you are talking loudly. The sensitivity can be adjusted and I like how the screen is quite discrete so people nearby don't know what you are doing.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the positive review. It is very much appreciated. If you can think of any ways in which the app can be improved please feel free to contact us via the "Help" button inside the app. Your communication will be sent directly to us. We want to make this app as useful as possible for our users.

### 5/5 — Lean and useful

*2020-05-29*

Just what I need: Providing me with feedback on my voice volume during online meetings.

**Developer response:** Hi abapman, Thank you for the great review. That sounds like an excellent use for our app. Please feel free to get back to us if you can think of any ways in which we can improve it further for you.
