TIME-OF-DAY MODES
Morning, Day, and Night modes automatically surface the most relevant words for that moment — breakfast options in the morning, bathroom and dinner at night.

SCENE BOARDS
Switch to Kitchen, Classroom, Restaurant, Car, or Bathroom boards for context-specific phrases exactly when you need them.

FEELINGS, ALWAYS CLOSE
12 emotional states — Happy, Sad, Tired, Frustrated, Excited and more — available in one tap from anywhere in the app.

VoiceBridge was created by a computer science student at Concordia University Chicago for his brother with Down syndrome. Every feature exists because someone needed it.

VoiceBridge 2.1 brings a major update to how the app works for everyone involved.

Communication mode is now the default — a clean, distraction-free interface for the person using the app to communicate with anyone around them, familiar or not.

Caregivers and family members can unlock edit mode with a private PIN to add custom words, photos, and personalize tiles for the individual.

New in this version:
- Caregiver PIN protection for all editing
- Custom photo tiles — add real photos of foods, places, and people
- Auto time-of-day greetings
- Location-aware tile suggestions (optional, off by default)
- Recently used phrases strip
- Scene boards for Kitchen, Classroom, Restaurant, Car, and Bathroom
