VoiceML Phone turns your iPhone into a full extension of your business phone system. Wherever you have Wi-Fi or cellular data, you can make and receive calls on your VoiceML number — no desk phone, no second SIM, no hassle.

Built for the way people work today, VoiceML Phone delivers a native calling experience. Incoming calls ring with the familiar full-screen call interface and arrive instantly through push notifications, even when the app is in the background, so you never miss a call. Answer, decline, mute, hold, transfer, and use the in-call keypad just like any other call on your iPhone.

Speakerphone reliability: switching between the earpiece and loudspeaker during a call now works consistently, including on newer iOS releases and when a Bluetooth headset is connected. Your contacts load only when you open the Contacts tab.

Calls now start on the earpiece by default, with a one-tap Speaker button during the call — video calls still switch to the loudspeaker automatically. The in-call keypad now sits in an even grid next to Video, and the launch icon is sized to match across iPhone and iPad.

Reliability improvements for incoming calls.

• Stable registration. VoiceML Phone now keeps a single, stable registration with your phone system across app restarts, network changes and reconnects. Previously a reconnect could leave an unused registration behind, and in rare cases that could delay or prevent an incoming call from reaching your device.

• Accurate version reporting. The app now reports its true version to your provider, so support can identify exactly which build a device is running.

• Internal hardening across the call, audio and Bluetooth code paths.
