Your voice. Your AI. Your data. A voice memo is easy to record and useless to use: it stays an audio file you have to replay in full to find the one thing you promised to do. VoiceToTask records, transcribes on device and then works out what you said: tasks, deadlines, decisions, key points, questions left open. Every item is anchored to the second of audio where it was said, so one tap plays it back. NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT YOUR CONFIRMATION What the AI finds stays a suggestion. It goes through a review screen where you correct, choose and confirm. Only then does a task, a notification or a Reminders entry come into being. With Pro, by meaning too: you find a note without remembering the exact words. ASK THE RECORDING With Pro, a question in plain language about what you said. The sentences it quotes back are checked against the transcript: the ones that cannot be found stay text, with no invented timestamps. ON YOUR DEVICES With iCloud on, recordings, audio, transcripts and tasks stay in step across your devices. They live in your account's private database: whoever develops the app cannot read them. Tap again and it pulls them back in. • The Lock Screen card switches itself off if the app is closed while recording, instead of leaving a timer running for nothing. • The timer stays right on very long recordings, past twenty-four hours. • The record button's haptics land on time even when you open and close it quickly. ### 1.5 — 2026-09-11 Fixes for notifications and for anyone using VoiceToTask on more than one device. • Notifications now appear while the app is open too, including the test notification in Settings. Tapping one takes you to your tasks. • On an iPad or a second iPhone, deadlines of tasks that arrived through iCloud ring again. • With Reminders sync turned on, a task no longer creates a duplicate reminder on every device, and completing or deleting it applies everywhere. • iCloud sync carries every detail of a task: notes, assignee, quote and moment in the audio, and the date of deadlines. ### 1.4 — 2026-09-11 Fixes, found by going looking for them. • At large text sizes the row «Fast, Quality, Cost, Privacy, Manual» shrank to five clipped stubs: it now becomes a column of full, readable options. • Long names no longer break in the middle of a word, and the line at the top of Pro is no longer cut short. • The Manual preset promised to ask which engine to use for every recording. It never did: it uses the one you pick, and that is now what it says. • On an iPhone set to English, one button in the tutorial was still in Italian. • Opening Pro at launch could read «purchases are not available» for a moment while the app was still asking the App Store. The screenshots above are new as well: the phone sits at the same height in all seven. ### 1.3 — 2026-09-10 A new icon. • Three voice bars rising into a checkmark: what you said, done. The same terracotta as the Record button, with the dark and tinted variants for those who use them. Fixes • Citations in "Ask this recording" no longer show "00:00" with a play button when the transcript carries no timings: the sentence stays, which is what the app can prove. • Fixed the sample data shown on first launch. ### 1.2 — 2026-09-10 The first launch now asks the question that matters. • A new step in the intro: choose who turns your words into tasks — Apple Intelligence on your phone (free, nothing leaves the iPhone), the cloud with your own key, or decide each time. Pick the cloud and the link to create the key is right there. • The model list is no longer a hundred entries long: the current ones stay, plus one or two older but good, and the rest sits under "Show all". • If you don't pick a model you now get a current one: the app used to pin one from two generations ago.
