## What is Void Drifter?

One thumb. One ship. One hundred sectors of hostile void.

VOID DRIFTER is a neon space survivor: drag anywhere to fly and your ship
fires on its own. Release your thumb and time dilates while you drift —
thread the swarm, line up the next move.

EVERY RUN MAKES YOU STRONGER
Enemies drop energy shards. Shards become level-ups. Level-ups become
builds: split cannons, piercing rounds, orbital drones, tractor fields.
Max out a matching pair and it EVOLVES — the Nova Lance that carves the
whole screen, the Plasma Storm that detonates around you, the Drone Swarm,
the Aegis Field. Every 30 seconds you are meaner than you were.

A CAMPAIGN WITH A BOTTOM
The void is 100 sectors deep, split into ten biomes — the Crimson Nebula,
the Verdant Drift, Cobalt Deep, all the way down to The Singularity. Every
tenth sector is guarded by a named warden. Kill it, and choose: extract
with your haul, or push deeper and risk it all. Greed is a strategy.
So is dying.

BREACH. REFIT. REDEPLOY.
Breaching a gate saves your exact build as a checkpoint — deploy straight
back to the frontier next run. Spend salvage in the hangar on 25 levels of
permanent ship systems and new hulls. The campaign fuels the hangar; the
hangar cracks the campaign.

HONEST BY DESIGN
• No ads. None.
• No consumables, no currencies to buy, no energy timers.
• Sectors 1–20 free forever. One single purchase unlocks the full campaign.
• Offline from takeoff — no account, no tracking, nothing collected.
• Haptics, reduced-effects mode, and one-handed play built in.

Runs are 10–15 minutes. Sessions end when you say so — pause anytime,
abandon a run and keep most of your haul. The void will be here.

How deep will you drift?

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-27

XP shards now demand movement.

Gold energy shards remain stable for five seconds, warn you by flashing and shrinking, then disappear after eight seconds if left behind. Once your tractor catches a shard, it is secured.

The Tractor Field has also been rebalanced: advanced tractor upgrades pull shards faster without eventually vacuuming the whole arena. The result is a more active run at every progression level, with clearer reasons to cross the battlefield and take risks.

The How to Play guide has been updated with the new rules. No ads, no tracking, and no internet connection required for gameplay.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-09

Sector 81+ gameplay tuning

• Late boss reinforcements now arrive as warned waves with real gaps between
them, so there is always a window to damage the boss itself
• Late Hunter bosses telegraph their charge for longer and pause afterwards —
the committed line stays readable and dodgeable
• Clearing a sector now repairs part of your hull, and a Repair Haul card can
patch you up once per sector
• The Conductor elite now commands the swarm with a Rally Pulse — destroy it
during the violet warning to cancel the order
• The endgame is retuned end to end so difficulty peaks at sector 100 instead
  of spiking at 88

### 1.0 — 2026-08-06
