## What is voiDicta?

voiDicta is an application that converts recorded audio into text, for so-called "transcription".
The concept of the Mac app "interviewScribe" has been optimized for the iPad.
If you use it together with the iPad's "Voice Memo" app, you can complete the recording and text conversion process on the iPad alone.

When people talk, they don't talk all the time from the beginning to the end, no matter how fast they talk, there will be pauses and breaks in their speech.
voiDicta recognizes these pauses, or silences, and subdivides the audio into segments.
The basic idea of texting is to listen to the playback sound of the segmented voice (we call this phrase) and input the text.

voiDicta can also perform automatic speech recognition using the Speech framework included in iOS.
voiDicta can recognize a single phrase or a phrase after a phrase continuously in the background.
In reality, it is still necessary to correct misconversions, but this can be done easily by using phrase units.

By default, voiDicta can convert up to 5 minutes of speech into text, but you can remove the 5 minute limit by in App purchase.
