The early game grind was fun and as others have noted the difficulty did plateau a bit but getting the energize ability fully upgraded and just flying through every room insta mining and killing everything is very satisfying. My one gripe is that I could not get the offline smelting to work. This led to me having more than enough crude materials to fully upgrade everything, but having to go on senseless expeditions even when every acheivement but the fully upgraded one was complete. To find a secret room, I recommend searching the Craggy Caverns and looking for walls with black cracks in them, then hit it with your sword. My only problem is that that gameplay doesn’t really change. You can pretty easily speed run floors and get the elements to unlock deeper levels without needing to fully upgrade equipment. If you want to upgrade equipment you have to play the levels over and over again with no real difficulty in order to collect resources. Each floor is the same grind, combat is essentially the same on every floor, the only real change is the albeit great scenery.
