## What is VoIPMe?

VoIPMe is a mobile SIP softphone for people who already have a SIP account — through a CPaaS provider, a hosted PBX, or their own
server — and just want a phone app that handles it well.

WHAT IT IS
VoIPMe is a softphone, not a phone service. You sign in with Apple or Google, add credentials from your SIP provider (Telnyx,
voip.ms, Twilio, your office PBX — anything that speaks SIP), and VoIPMe turns your iPhone into a desk extension. Calls go
directly between you and your provider — the audio never routes through our servers.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
• Native ringing. Inbound calls show up as a real system call on iPhone (CallKit). Lock screen, Bluetooth headset, and CarPlay
all work, because the OS handles the call.
• Push that actually wakes the app. Inbound calls fire high-priority APNs pushes through our relay, so the app rings even when
the system has closed it or the phone is locked — without keeping a battery-killing socket open.
• Encrypted signaling on paid plans. TLS to your provider with real certificate validation. Your SIP password is stored in the
iOS Keychain — never in plain text.
• HD audio on paid plans. Wideband Opus when your provider supports it, with G.711 fallback for PSTN. Hardware echo cancellation
via iOS VoiceProcessingIO.

CALL CONTROLS
• Answer, hang up, hold, mute, speaker, Bluetooth toggle
• DTMF keypad during a call (RFC 4733)
• On-device call history (kept on your phone)
• Telnyx, voip.ms, Twilio, and other providers — working end-to-end (inbound + outbound)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• A SIP account (server, username, password)
• For inbound on some providers: you need to setup webhook url — more info available in our website FAQ page.

PRIVACY
• We never record, transcribe, store, or analyze your call audio — ever.
• We don't sell your data, and we never see your card number.
• Signing in gives us your email and display name. When you're signed in, the app reports call counts and durations (never who
you called — no number ever leaves your device) so we can measure usage and prevent abuse.
• The free plan is supported by ads (Google AdMob); where required you'll be asked to consent, and you can decline and keep using
the app. Paid plans show no ads.
• We also hold a push token (to wake the app) and an opaque call-routing identifier. Delete your account and everything attached
to it any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete account.

WHAT IT'S NOT
• Not a phone service. Calling charges come from your SIP provider.
• Not for emergency calls. Always use a mobile carrier or landline for 911 / 112 / 999.
• Not a call-center platform — no queues, IVR, or auto-attendant.

PRICING
Free plan, supported by ads. A paid subscription removes ads and adds encrypted TLS signaling and HD audio — a flat subscription,
never per-seat, never per-minute. Current pricing at voipme.online. Call charges themselves always come from your SIP provider.
