## What is Volcano Geyser?

VolcanoTester turns every off-the-shelf device into a test unit using a downloadable app—it doesn’t require rooting. Eliminate the need to tether test equipment to your iOS devices because the Geyser app turns the devices into test equipment themselves. 
You can use Volcano for a variety of use cases, including:

Network performance 
Device monitoring
Load-testing and benchmarking
And device testing

Geyser works in concert with other VolcanoTester components, including Caldera (Central Controller), to perform various tests while reporting the device’s basic location and throughput information. 
Please note that the use of this application is only permitted and possible when you have purchased an instance of VolcanoTester and have the appropriate credentials to log in to the system. This application is not meant to be used as a standalone test tool.

Wow. Amazing how powerful volcano is, and has been shown to reduce costs surrounding drive testing by 10-20x (backed by a case study). Also, it is the first app that is able to implement network slicing for iOS devices!  This tool saved my team and allowed me to not only measure KPIs from many devices but also to generate load on networks.
