As you arrive at your destination, start your park assist system in the vehicle and choose how you'd like to park (e.g. parallel). The assist system checks the side of the road for available parking spaces of the right size and shows you on the display once it's found what it's looking for. When you switch the engine off, you can send the parking process to the app via the infotainment system and get out of the car, looking out for oncoming traffic. You can now start the parking process in your Remote Parking Assistant app. The assist system takes control of your vehicle and parks in your chosen space by itself. For safety reasons, you need to hold down the app""s Drive button at all times and stay close to the vehicle. When the process is complete, your vehicle is safely parked and locks automatically. When you'd like to drive away, launch the app within range of your vehicle and select a parking manoeuvre. Your vehicle's Park Assist Pro will then manoeuvre your vehicle back out of the parking space, taking traffic into account. When the selected manoeuvre is complete, you can get into your car and take the wheel. Please note that the Volkswagen Park Assist Pro app is currently only available with the corresponding optional equipment (""Park Assist Pro - prepared for remote parking""). Les développeurs ne doivent certainement pas vérifier que leur application fonctionne sinon il n’y aurait pas que des très mauvais avis sur l’Apple store. S’y intéressent ils au moins ? Bonne journee! ### 2/5 — depuis la mise à jour *2026-08-10* bonjour, une mise à jour vient enfin d'être effectuée, qui a mis un temps fou avant de voir le jour!!, malheureusement, même si un très léger progrès est apparu,la connectivité reste très instable et très souvent (majoritairement) vouée à l'echec. c'est toujours une vraie galère pour arriver de l'extérieur en suivant à la lettre les instructions de pouvoir par exemple simplement sortir le véhicule sur deux mètres !! Prendre autant de temps pour faire une mise à jour qui ne fonctionne pas, c'est très frustrant pour celui qui à payé plus de 75000 euros son véhicule. (evidemment mes appareils sont à jour, mon smartphone est un iphone 17 pro max evidemment à jour lui aussi. ### 5/5 — Einwandfrei *2026-08-08* Ich habe meinen Tiguan seit Dezember 2026, nach anfänglichen Problemen funktioniert es jetzt einwandfrei. Ich nutze es nur, wenn mich an der Arbeit ein freundlicher Kollege eingeparkt hat. Also mehrmals in der Woche. Die Parkplätze sind auch sehr eng. My brand new ID Buzz has this feature but the pairing always times out. I have removed pairing, removed phone from Bluetooth on Buzz and Buzz from phone, removed added pairing, but refuses to pair. Clearly there is some fundamental challenge with the app or authorisations which is preventing this working. Suggest proper testing by development team to identify this common issue, fix and release. When pairing to start with you have to hold your phone out the window to get it to connect. When you try and use it (with in 2m ) you really struggle to connect and keeps dropping out. I found holding your phone up high near the back wheel helps. But that’s no good if you’re moving forward because you cannot see what’s on front. The poor connection is it down to how the app is set so you have to be close to the vehicle.
