Prendre autant de temps pour faire une mise à jour qui ne fonctionne pas, c'est très frustrant pour celui qui à payé plus de 75000 euros son véhicule. (evidemment mes appareils sont à jour, mon smartphone est un iphone 17 pro max evidemment à jour lui aussi. ### 2/5 — Ständige Verbindungsabrüche *2026-02-17* Habe erst die App gar nicht mit dem ID4 verbunden bekommen. Musste den Fahrergurt erst stecken, das Fahrzeug starten. Den war Code abscannen und ganz schnell das Handy neben die Fahrzeug Antenne legen…. Wenn ich mich nun ca 2m neben das Auto stelle, kriege ich keine Verbindung. Erst wenn ich das Handy quasi direkt neben die Antenne halte, kann ich das Fahrzeug mit der App starten. Bewege ich mich dann weg, bricht die Verbindung ab und das Auto bleibt im Gang stecken und lässt sich nicht mehr verbinden. Nur ein einsteigen und manuelles parken ist dann möglich… **Developer response:** Hallo EckbertHeino, das von Dir beschriebene Problem kennen wir leider. Es wird durch einen Softwarefehler im Fahrzeug verursacht. Bitte wende Dich an unser Customer Care Team und verweise auf die TPI 2075731/5. Die Kollegen teilen Dir dann die weiteren Schritte mit. Den Fahrergurt anzustecken, um Fahrzeug und Telefon zu koppeln ist übrigens nicht nötig. Nur das Fahrzeug muss gestartet sein und das Infotainment an. ### 2/5 — VW Park Remote Park Assist. :-( *2026-02-11* Sorry… bit miffed. I have a beautiful ID-7 and it has some wonderful tech including Park Assist, which does loads of stuff including saving parking manoeuvres, a 360deg camera. But since the upgrade to VW OS 5.6, (A very nice upgrade), I was hoping to have Remote Park Assist. The car after all has all the prerequisite hardware, and now the latest OS too. Jetzt ist mein Fahrzeug in der VW App verschwunden und ich muss es neu verbinden. Besonders ärgerlich da das Fahrzeug gerade tiefgefroren im Tal steht, ich auf dem Berg sitze und es gerne im voraus entfrostet hätte. Wir hoffen, Du bist dennoch gut nach Hause gekommen. ### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t connect, times out on 2025 Buzz, and contact details all fail! *2025-12-16, version 2.3* Have tried numerous times (over a period of months) to connect via the QR code method for my 2025 year buzz GTX in the uk. Nothing, just times out. Dealership say they don’t know how to help, AND contact details for help in the app send me to a German webpage and a phone number that won’t connect. Not a happy customer…. ### 1/5 — Never connects *2025-10-20* I have a new ID Buzz in the UK and it has this feature. The app ‘never’ connects though and it always times out and gives up trying. Needs a fix! **Developer response:** Indeed, the feature is pretty cool, however from your description it looks like a known vehicle software related issue that we have a short-term fix for. Cannot get to connect. Just times out. No one seems to care that the car owners can’t use the functionality which is needed on such a large vehicle. The In-car manual describes it, it just isn’t there in the infotainment system. I got the complete run around first from VW customer service, then the local dealer who says it must be ordered with the car. Les développeurs ne doivent certainement pas vérifier que leur application fonctionne sinon il n’y aurait pas que des très mauvais avis sur l’Apple store. S’y intéressent ils au moins ? Bonne journee! ### 1/5 — Pairing issue *2026-07-29* Like many on here I cannot pair my phone. My brand new ID Buzz has this feature but the pairing always times out. I have removed pairing, removed phone from Bluetooth on Buzz and Buzz from phone, removed added pairing, but refuses to pair. Clearly there is some fundamental challenge with the app or authorisations which is preventing this working. Suggest proper testing by development team to identify this common issue, fix and release. Take care and thanks for your patience. ### 1/5 — ID Buzz GTX *2026-05-19, version 2.3* Park Assist Pro nice idea, but just doesn’t work as well as it should. When pairing to start with you have to hold your phone out the window to get it to connect. When you try and use it (with in 2m ) you really struggle to connect and keeps dropping out. I found holding your phone up high near the back wheel helps. But that’s no good if you’re moving forward because you cannot see what’s on front. The poor connection is it down to how the app is set so you have to be close to the vehicle. Take care and thanks for your patience. ### 1/5 — Funktioniert bei neuem ID.7 aus 2026 nicht … ständige Verbindungsabbrüche *2026-03-09* Die App konnte ich mit dem Fahrzeug (geliefert Ende Februar 2026!) zwar verbinden (iPhone 15). Jedoch ist eine Verbindung nur ganz nah hinten am Fahrzeug mit hochgehaltenem Handy möglich. Sobald ich mich dann ein wenig weg bewege bricht die Funktion mit der Meldung ab „Verbindung zum Fahrzeug verloren“. Auch CarPlay habe ich auf Empfehlung bereits deaktiviert ohne Verbesserung. Leider ist das Remote Parking so für mich nutzlos… Sehr schade, da ich die Funktion an sich sehr praktisch finde. Dazu müsste aber die Verbindung zum Fahrzeug stabil halten. Dernière version de l’application, avec un iPhone 17 Pro Max. J’ai payé une option qui je fonctionne pas ! Ich nutze es nur, wenn mich an der Arbeit ein freundlicher Kollege eingeparkt hat. Also mehrmals in der Woche. Die Parkplätze sind auch sehr eng. Beim ersten Versuch der Anwendung keine Funktion. Danach mehrmals versucht die Anwendung neu zu installieren. Ein Handy konnte nicht angemeldet werden. Der notwendige QR Code erschien nicht im Display. Den Wagen heute zur Werkstatt gebracht. Diagnose: Defektes Antennenmodul. Lieferdatum für das Ersatzteil ??? Nach 2 Wochen Wartezeit wurde das Antennenmodul, in Absprache mit dem Werk, erneuert. Problemlose Installation der App.. It does exactly what I want it to do, and it’s mostly perfect for driving out of tight spots.
