Saving different locations on the floor is really good. I would like to be able to save the location of the volleyball. Maybe I simply don’t understand how. I upgraded my ISO to 16.2 which caused the screen size of the app to be larger than my ipad screen. I emailed tech-support for help and their response was within 10 minutes. The problem has been fixed and I couldn’t be happier with how they handled the situation. ### 5/5 — Fantastic Volleyball App *2022-09-09, version 2.8.0* I use this with 12-15yr old Club Teams for them to review before Tournaments. Not many simple, useful Volleyball apps out there. This is one…easily worth the money. Please continue developing this app! (Love the latest up date btw) ** UPDATE Been using this for a couple years now, and can’t begin to say how useful this is. Personally couldn’t live without it. Before each Match I make a Video of all the Rotations and Offensive/Defensive schemes i’ve setup and have the Girls study before the Game. Not just a Rotation Assistant (but great at that), but also a REALLY Powerful Coaching Tool as well. PLEASE keep this App alive at any Cost. I will pay for an update 🙌 ### 5/5 — Out of rotation *2021-12-07* I like being able to work up new serve receive rotations. This app allows me to do so and it also lets me know when I am out of rotation because of a move I make. Very helpful. I love being able to show my players where I want them defensively also. Great app! ### 5/5 — Very well with the cost *2021-12-01* Needed this to help me learn rotations in running a 5-1 and a 6-2 at the middle school level. This helped tremendously. Had a question about how to do certain things and sent a message to the admin. They got back with me very fast and was very helpful. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. ### 4/5 — Auto rotation *2020-08-29* I wish the app would let you auto rotate once you set up a scheme. instead of having to click 1,2,3 etc. a button to just auto rotate your players to their next position would be awesome. **Developer response:** Our latest version 2.7.0 has just that. Coaching without an assistant this year and having this app available on the sidelines on my iPad had enabled my beginner players to be in charge of their subs. We’re here to help and want to get this resolved for you! ### 1/5 — Black screen *2024-09-14* I paid for the app and put the rotation I wanted and the screen went black at the rooster page. I’ve closed it multiple times, restarted my phone, and still just a black screen!! **Developer response:** Email us @ support@volleyballrotations.app and we'll get it fixed for you. ### 1/5 — Waste of Money *2020-01-05, version 1.10.3* I can’t make any changes to lineups or players. There is nowhere to go for help. ### 3/5 — Buggy *2024-02-28* App is buggy at time it’s works just need to be fixed. When I try to change the colors of the players and press done it just freezes then I press cancel it doesn’t change anything. Obviously pressing cancel will cancel it but when I press done it just stays gray and doesn’t change anything please come out with an update. **Developer response:** Hi Anyomous1232 - Tap Support in the app menu and we’ll be happy to figure out what’s going on with your setup. ### 3/5 — Not overly thrilled with it. *2023-08-14* I bought the app, based on the reviews, however it doesn’t even allow for a Libero to but placed on the court. I’d like it a lot more if there were a more in depth tutorial to show me how to make it run smoother. ### 3/5 — Needs to do more *2022-05-31* The app is difficult to use. It does do it’s job and show positioning and rotations. It would be nice since we have to pay quite a bit for the app that we should be able to share it with our players so they can run through the plays as well. Like a “review mode.” Can you save certain rotations so you can retrieve them later? Can we rename rotations? **Developer response:** There are two ways you can share your rotations with your players. 1) Print a hard copy or 2) share your rotation code in settings with other devices that have the app installed. And yes you can rename the rotation in settings as well as make copies of the rotation for other teams or systems you wish to use. In the main menu tap support or community if you have further questions and we'll be more than happy to help. ### 4/5 — So helpful! *2026-08-20* This app is amazing and so helpful as I’m trying to help my players learn Rotations and teach myself as well. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is because there’s a little bit of a glitch when you try to replace your middle with your lib in the back row it won’t save and keeps putting my middle in the back row. **Developer response:** Thanks so much, really glad it's helping you and your players learn the rotations! We're looking into the substitution glitch you described, sounds like swapping your libero in for your middle in the back row isn't saving and keeps reverting to the middle? If you get a chance, a quick email to support@volleyballrotations.app with the exact rotation/steps would help us pin it down and get it fixed. ### 4/5 — Hitter 1 and hitter 2 get flipped *2025-01-08* This is an awesome app so far! The only thing is that when I put one of my players down as hitter 1 on the roster they get switched to hitter 2 on the court once I complete my roster. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be or not. Any feedback would be awesome :) **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! But I just updated the app and lost the Anime characters and now im sad. Please bring back the characters :) **Developer response:** Thanks so much for being with us since the early days, that really means a lot! Sorry about losing the anime characters, we had to pull them for licensing reasons. The apps layout and functionality is well thought out and quite impressive, special shout out to the programmers who worked on the rotation overlap feature. I use it at pretty much every tournament I coach and it makes keeping track of rotations and lineups so much easier. They’ve also added a ton of new features since I first started using it. But I do think that the “rotation code” is outdated, and having an account to save all my rotations to without worrying about losing them if I lose access to my device and end up having to make them all over again would be very helpful.
