VolleyWrite is an inexpensive, easy-to-learn and easy-to-use improvement over paper scoring that gives your scorer total control at the scoring table.  With the rules and scoring notation built in, VolleyWrite guides you through your scoring experience.  VolleyWrite simplifies your input so you can keep up with the action on the court and enjoy the match too.  And with the Predictive Assistance feature turned on, you can enter substitutions and libero replacements with a single touch!  

VolleyWrite is a subscription-based app.  Subscription extensions are available as in-app purchases.

### 5.7.0 — 2025-08-08

1.  We now have an NAIA Men rule set based on USAV rules and with unlimited subs.
2.  We've changed the challenge button and now the Set tab shows each team's challenges used and maximum available to take some of the confusion out of set 5.
3.  The logic has been corrected to support NFHS scoring where a starting player is ill/injured.  It is now possible to change the lineup without consequence regardless of the player being a libero or a non-libero.
4.  The NFHS "ghost" player has more support.

### 5.6.3 — 2024-10-15

The error introduced when the label on the alternate captain boxes changed to "?" has been resolved.  You are now not forced to enter an alternate captain unless the captain is a libero.
There was a bug in the rule sets with the naming of the property controlling whether teams switch sides between non-deciding sets.  This only showed when VolleyWrite was used with VolleyTourney, but it is now resolved.

Version 5.6.0 contains a fix for the Wrong Server popover whose Done button would not enable, so you could not record the action.

* Most importantly, there is a new Welcome tab screen and a new About tab screen to make it more obvious that you are using "VolleyWrite Season" which does not have in-app purchases instead of "VolleyWrite" which does support in-app purchases.
2. The Uniform Violation Administrative Sanctions have been updated/corrected for NFHS and NCAA scoring.
3. The popover handling the deciding set switching of sides was not closing properly, making subsequent challenges that did not end in a reversal hard to close.
4. The lineups were not always being populated properly by the Last Lineup and the Load Last Match buttons.
5. An Abbreviated Team Name field was added to the Rosters tab to help NCAA Challenges be as compact as possible. 
6. The Comment text length was doubled.
