Other than that this app simulates the really awesome features only found on high end touring motorcycles. Works perfectly. The only negative is that it drains the battery. Perhaps the accelerometer would help reduce the need for gps. ### 5/5 — Don't change a thing! *2017-02-06, version 1.1* Once I found this app, it worked precisely how I imagined it should. No need to go into settings and adjust anything and it doesn't just work for your iTunes library, it works for any audio playing. ...and it also gives you the option to set the lowest speed volume and the highest speed volume if you wish. If you use a nav app or maps you will always see the volume pop up as the app adjusts volume (which is all the time), you will also hear the beeping everytime volume changes (which is all the time). It doesn’t work at all if you use your phone through your head unit (with USB/iPod controls). As in: When I’m at a stop in the boonies I might like the volume a bit lower than, say, when I’m at a light on main street, where I might need a little more volume. As it is now, the volume curve is fixed and only adjustable within the app. Yes, you can alter the volume with the volume controls on the phone when stopped but, as soon as you start moving, the volume reverts back to the presets. I use it while on a boat, doing lots of stop and go to pick up wakeboarders etc. Would be really great to have a 'timer' feature. The app stops running sometimes. It seems like because we stop for 5 min or so, but I don't have my phone on me or notice, and it ends up being annoying to use. The volume of the boat changes a lot, so having this would let me set to 1hr or something and know it was running. ### 4/5 — Great! *2018-05-03, version 1.2* Pretty awesome app to use while boating. The only thing I would really like would be a Suspend/Pause button to make the app not change the volume for a while when I want to control it manually. My only questions are how to access the automatic mode that others are mentioning, and what is the purpose of the reset “switch”? Only things I’d love to see would be the ability create your own volume curve, and to increase the n= so it’s a more smooth transition (though I know that would cause the volume indicator to pop up more frequently, so maybe let the user define n based on their preferences?) ### 5/5 — Snowmobile experience *2022-02-20* Enhance the experience by listening music while in snowmobile. After setting your preferred range of speed the volume literally goes up and down based on your GPS speed. This latest update really sets it apart. I use it with Pandora and Bluetooth speakers on my motorcycle. Really works great. A recent iOS update seems to have caused it to stop working - it does everything except actually adjust the volume now. Here is hoping the developer fixes this problem quickly as I rely on this app every day. ### 5/5 — Great for boats *2020-05-11, version 2.1* I searched all over the web for a hardware solution to raise the volume while wake surfing and lower it at idle and found one less than elegant solution for $200 that would have certainly taken hours to install. This app solved the problem with a 5min setup for $5. Well worth it. Gotta love software solutions to problems ### 5/5 — Works Great!! *2019-10-06, version 2.1* I have speakers on my Harley. Before this app, it was a constant pain to adjust the volume. I would pull up to a light or a stop sign, I would have to turn it down to talk to the buddies I was riding with. Then when you take off, it would need to be turned up so you could hear it. This app completely takes care of that. You set it up once, then after that, you open the app, let it run in the background, then open up your music app, and presto. It’s a definite must have in my opinion. The only minor issue I did have for a while was the volume showing up on the screen over the top of navigation as you would change speed. Unfortunately, that’s a requirement from Apple so it couldn’t be fixed.... until... iOS 13. The volume display is now much smaller and over to the side. So it is no longer an issue at all.
