VolunTails is the volunteer coordination platform built for animal shelters and rescue organizations.

Sign in with Apple, Google, your phone number, or email. Sign in with Apple keeps your real email address private if you prefer.

VolunTails is used by animal shelters and rescues to coordinate dog walking, cat socialization, adoption events, and front-desk shifts. It's the same platform whether you're managing 10 volunteers or 200.

### 1.5.14 — 2026-08-27

Volunteer applications that arrive by email now show their full answers before approval, so coordinators review first and approve second. Staff members can grant the Vet and Foster roles. The notifications panel and all screens now sit correctly below the status bar on every iPhone. Plus recent improvements: find your shelter by name, a status board for join requests, and messages scoped to your current shelter.

### 1.5.11 — 2026-08-25

Volunteers can now find their shelter by name — just type it on the welcome screen and pick from the list, no invite link needed. While a join request is under review, a status board shows every request and lets you finish unfinished applications or join another shelter. Messages now shows your current shelter's channels. Plus steadier screens throughout and graceful retries on flaky connections.

### 1.5.2 — 2026-08-19

Fixes the dashboard so no cards are cut off at the bottom of the screen.

The app no longer slides sideways when you drag it.

Tapping a number on your dashboard now opens the schedule filtered to exactly that — open slots, or shifts that need help.

Plus the sign-in and account-linking improvements from the last update.

### 1.1.9 — 2026-08-12

Fixes the volunteer invite/join link so it opens correctly when shared outside the app. Plus reliability improvements.

### 1.1.8 — 2026-08-11

You can now see the app version at the bottom of the sign-in screen. Plus reliability fixes for phone sign-in and general improvements.
