Was trägt diese App zum Gelingen dieser Welt bei? - Nichts. Die Bedienung ist absolut mangelhaft und unter dem Begeiff Zeitvernichter abzulegen oder gleich wieder zu löschen. Ich habe das zweite gewählt, weil ich schlecht gemachte Produkte ablehne. Dazu gehört zweifelsohne diese App. Da ist selbst der eine Stern zu viel des Guten.

Immerhin taucht das „konfigurierte“ Fahrzeug dann auf, aber das Fahrzeug drehen, hineinzoomen etc. funktioniert eher zufällig. Nach spätestens 2 Minuten weicht die Experimentierfreude der Einsicht, dass man nicht wirklich was damit anfangen kann, dass das großer Quatsch ist sowie der ernüchternden Erkenntnis, dass diese App wohl die Kunden vertrösten soll, die eine Probefahrt angemeldet haben aber wegen der Lieferverzögerung der Fahrzeuge noch länger warten dürfen.

Ich kann nicht verstehen, weshalb Volvo solch eine App veröffentlicht. Statt AR sehe ich nur mein Kamera-Bild. schade, Erwartungen in keinster Weise erfüllt.

Looking to trade by XC40 in and buy an EX30 and this app is promoted in the dealership as a way to learn more about the car. The app is very poor,  offers little insight or opportunity to learn about the vehicle. A very poor customer experience.

I really like the idea of viewing the car in AR, but the zoom options are fixed at 10%, 100% and 200% which are just the right amounts to see nothing useful. If only you could pinch to zoom like any normal picture, document etc.

Die App ist sehr gut zu bedienen. Wenn man nach der primären Positionierung auf den „Erklär“ – Bildschirm achtet, kann man das Fahrzeug auch drehen und im Raum verschieben. Die Betrachtung ist von innen wie außen möglich und die Darstellung Detail getreu (Farbe, Polster und Felgen können ausgewählt werden). Natürlich kann man außer sich das Fahrzeug aus verschiedenen Positionen anzuschauen (sowohl innen als auch außen), nichts weiter tun, habe das habe ich aber auch nicht erwartet.

I dunno why this has poor reviews. The website would be a good place to learn about the car. The augmented reality app is a good place to view an augmented reality version of the car.

You need to know how to use it though. Place the car in the room and then walk around and inside the car as if it were real rather than relying on finger gestures to see it. Tap doors to open them.

Es dauerte etwas bis ich die Steuerung der App herausgetüftelt hatte. Dann war es schon witzig, das Auto in Normalgröße oder als Spielzeugauto (oder in doppelter Größe) ins Wohnzimmer zu stellen, drum herum zu laufen, die Türen zu öffnen oder sich hineinzusetzen. Es ist eindrucksvoll wie fest das virtuelle Auto dabei an der Position im Raum bleibt. Ein Stern Abzug weil es weder Türgräusche gibt noch das Radio oder Navi bedient werden können.
Fazit: Völlig nutzlos und trotzdem interessant - jedenfalls für Technik-Nerds.

I gave this app a try, but it’s really hard to get a real sense of scale, and physical size when viewing the car through a phone display. I would love to see a fully immersive Apple Vision Pro version of this app.
