I believe this is a good app by itself but not a fitting replacement for the original VOM Pray Today app. I will likely seek resources elsewhere. I feel the pursuit of money has derailed VOM’s focus. I don’t believe the Holy Spirit instructed VOM to delete the Pray Today app. I think some penny pinching misguided new leadership turned towards the pursuit of money and away from the mission. Zero data collection is necessary to publish prayer requests, and nothing needs to be tied to individual users, so I find this unreasonable. But now it requires a login to even see the prayer items. Why are you requiring an account to use the app? It seems almost counter to your goals to gather information and metrics on individuals using the app. ### 2/5 — Glitchy App *2021-03-29* Now no matter what version or update if the App, no matter what iPhone I’ve had, the App eventually stops working. I go through the same process of deleting and reinstall in the app, rebooting my phone, ensuring I have updated operating system. The app stops working. This has happened year after year. Eventually the app updates catch up to the IPhone updates, but it takes time and I feel frustrated as an intercessor for the persecuted. I do however enjoy the app, learning about the countries, developing prayer strategies, and being encouraged by testimonies. I just wish the app wasn’t so glitchy. ### 3/5 — Miss having the prayer count *2023-02-03, version 3.0* The new app is fine but my kids miss having the prayer count. One suggestion please: I’ve started a year long devotional and after only two days really enjoy it. I love Yahweh for the life we have in Him because of His love for us. We are more than a conquerors in this world that we live in. Every promise we have in Him let us share that truth to those that do not know their identity in Christ. To know, no matter what the enemy may try……he was defeated at the cross. To know Yahweh and His son Yesuah is eternal life not just someday but it’s for us today. I join my brothers and sisters praying that our father will protect their heart and minds from the enemies lies and pain and suffering. To know that He loves us with with an everlasting love nothing will ever separate us from His love. I pray every day for my family in Christ this battle is temporary, soon we will all be in His presence face to face. What is in store for us who love Him?, I am so ready, I want everyone one to look past this world because we have a home in eternity where this is nothing but love and peace. Also an amazing resource for books and video for learning the history of our faith not just from scripture but also from those who progressed the faith to date.
