Besides the constant VOIP alert that continually pops up when I am not on WiFi the app is now dropping the sound halfway through the conversation with no way to fix it besides hanging up and calling the person back. This is app is making my job extremely difficult and frustrsting. ### 1/5 — Defective *2018-04-26, version 22.0.52* Tells me that my phone is jailbroken because some folder exists when it’s not and it never has been. The feature of this app looked promising, however I have no idea how it functions because I never got passed the loading screen. I waited 10 min then deleted the app. If it is a compatibility issue with my old iPhone 7 (which I otherwise have no problems with) this is also a problem for obvious reasons. ### 1/5 — Worst phone product I’ve encountered *2022-11-10, version 23.9.26* Incredible that this company is in business. App functionality is horrible, dialing issues, wifi issues, rarely works as it should. Worst app ever . Time after time the app puts users in unavailable mode . ### 1/5 — Horrible call dropping rate *2021-09-28, version 23.9.24* I have had more issues with this app and dropping calls than any other mobile calling app I’ve ever used before. You go to answer a call, it looks like it’s going to connect then disconnects. You answer a call and start to have a conversation and it drops. Vonage support is a joke when it comes to supporting this as the solution for a MOBILE APP was to add my public IP to their whitelist which didn’t solve a thing nor is it something they should be doing for their massive customer base. The solution should be hmm let me pass that on to our team that develops this web app and have them see why it only has a 2 star rating in the App Store. Couldn’t possibly be because this app is garbage could it?? maybe it needs fixing or an update?? Come on Vonage. You are way too big of a company to let stuff like this fly. Fix your app ### 1/5 — Why doesn’t this ever work correctly? *2021-03-22, version 23.8.73* If it’s not the voicemail that’s broken it’s the connection dropping. If it’s but that then it’s unable to even make a call. This app has Ben terrible for years and isn’t even a little better. ### 1/5 — Good in theory *2020-10-08, version 23.8.73* The idea of this is helpful. But there are so many bugs that make the app glitch. Calls are always dropped, people can’t hear me, etc. ### 1/5 — Back to the drawing board *2019-11-15, version 23.8.73* Why on earth would you make the app center around the messaging function that only voyage users can access? You are my phone service... the messaging junk is bloatware I don’t want. At least let the user decide if they want to have to wade through the messaging app to get to make a call. And let me decide if you want to save my credentials. This was a shabby attempt at in upgrade... ### 1/5 — Terrible *2019-11-06, version 22.5.11* This app is just terrible. Notifications don’t work when I need them to and work when I don’t want them to work. When messaging others notifications don’t appear, but when you get spam calls and messages from unknown or voip issues you always get notified. ### 1/5 — Absolute junk! *2019-10-07, version 22.5.11* This is the worst app; avoid it all costs! Nothing works as expected. ## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Perfect voice *2018-03-15, version 22.0.52* I use this app on my iPhone when not at my desk and it has had perfect voice and messaging with coworkers on WiFi or if I have at least a couple of bars of LTE connectivity. Even lets me turn my cheap, kind of older, android tablet into a phone as well. ### 4/5 — Finally! CallKit integration! *2018-05-09, version 22.5.11* Vonage sure does take their time between updates, but as of this version they finally have caught up to competitors. The app finally integrates with Siri CallKit, which means you still get calls when the app is no longer running. This makes the app actually worth installing. Now they just need to integrate the SMS functionality instead of requiring a separate app! ### 3/5 — Still Has Issues *2021-05-12, version 23.9.20* Well it certainly looks more appealing but now when I try to make calls I have to continuously keep going back to the dial pad. Used to be that I could hang up and still be on the dial pad to make another call. Now it automatically takes me to to messages screen and it slows me down when I have 100 calls to make in a day. I’ve only been using the updated version for a day or so but this is a pretty big flaw that needs to be fixed. We will see how it goes with other issues. ### 2/5 — New update *2021-06-22, version 23.9.20* New update is physically more appealing and I love it. But now the dial pad isn’t automatically shown after making a call which takes a lot of time out of my day as I am constantly on the phone. I liked it when you ended a call, the dial pad was automatically back on the screen. Please bring this feature back. ### 2/5 — No more VPN *2021-05-24, version 23.9.20* New update is more visually appealing, but now it seems we have lost the ability to make calls on VoIP. Was great when I was in a building and couldn't get service so would connect to the free wifi but have my VPN there for security. Now I can't make calls without turning my VPN off Which defeats the entire purpose. ### 2/5 — Touch and Go *2020-03-23, version 23.8.73* It’s great when it works. But the amount of log in issues we’ve experienced makes it a rare occasion for it to work.
