A sale price in the store was much lower. I could not get the much lower price to work on my phone. Sometimes it works at the checkout. Not this time. Seems overly complicated, trying to do too many things. I don't need to actually shop in the app, bit I have to wade through all the shopping features just to clip digital coupons. And speaking of coupons, the ability to clip a coupon by scanning the price tag on the shelf? Good idea, and it would be very convenient -- if it worked more than 20% of the time. The app doesn’t work and should be revised and updated to prevent all these crashes. I’m unable to use it all. Never too long of a wait for checkout. Produce and meat are always fresh. I get wonderful customer service. We have lived around Imperial Beach for over 35 years and this Vons has always been there. Some of their workers have been there for years too. Never really had a bad experience here personally so I was shocked about the stabbing but there is a homeless problem around that area.
