There is a podcasts section that doesn't seem to be advertised, and all the podcasts that show there are from one single point of view, none from the other side. I'd honestly rather that not be included at all because I feel like the stuff there will only cause drama in the long run, which I heard some other people have experienced. I haven't, but I'd prefer to stick to free, more openminded alternatives. ### 3/5 — Alvin!!! *2025-08-24, version 1.9968* I don’t know if it’s my phone or not, but why is everything in chipmunk mode. And that is the brutal truth ### 3/5 — The paywall killed it. *2019-08-13* Don't get me wrong; there is still a community. But it's a small one and not one I feel like I can connect with. I can't tell people to just download this awesome app anymore, now it's "download this awesome app and pay $5 / month (or $6.50 in Canada.)" It's not up to me to say that the price is unfair, but it is up to me to say that many good people left for the free social networks they've always known, and I understand why. You have to be invested in a community to pay $5 + a month. Some flexible pricing might bring people back; maybe the free accounts just can't post questions and can only listen or reply for a limited time. This thing will be a good moneymaker for a while and then it'll either die or stagnate. Sad to cee yet another voice based social network become unreachable for so many. ### 1/5 — No Longer Worth Paying For *2019-07-19, version 1.90* After nearly three and a half years of being on Vorail, I can no longer support this app. After going to a subscription model in November, the developer seems to have abandoned all IOS users concentrating solely on the android platform. The end result has been that many of the features that were available in the free version have been removed and the app continues to have problems with no end in sight. There was a time when the developer informed subscribers of updates and fixes, but this is no longer the case. Ultimately, it makes no sense to continue paying for an app which instead of getting better has actually gotten worse. Sad. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2019-05-05, version 1.90* This app is not even worth the money. I like the old fully out of the app. I can’t even figure out how to use this new layout. There’s no read me on how to use it. All right so this app is garbage. The hel do you make us pay for this. So I don’t people can do social media without paying. So why should we have to pay. Why should we waste our time on their social media app paying four dollars a month. This is ridiculous. We shouldn’t have to pay to get on social media Facebook is accessible to me and if it’s accessible me to me it should be accessible to everybody else Facebook is better than this app and you wanna know why? Because we don’t have to pay a penny for anything.. And yet you’re making us pay for freaking dollars. Just to voice chat. That is the most idiotic thing that I’ve ever heard of. I don’t know why everybody else is in alarmed about this. This is not OK. This used to be my favorite app but when I heard about how they were going to make us pay I was just ticked off. This should not be happening in this world. We deserve to have free social media like everybody else. And I want to know why. Why. Do you make us pay four dollars. Just to voice chat. I don’t think, I will be sticking around very long with the new app look. It is very confusing and complex. Will be very hard for somebody who has cognitive issues to figure out. It shows that they charge $49 per month or four dollars per month. That does not make sense at all, the developer needs to really check when they are writing things up. Not even Facebook or Instagram charge and you can do so much more with those apps. It makes me even angrier because it's an app tailored to blind people and it seems to me that blind people always have to pay more money to enjoy things that sighted people can enjoy for free like social media. It is so offensive I think. I refused to pay. I've used it for two or more years. You've done a great job in developing it. My only issue is with this subscription stuff. 60 bucks a year can add up really quick. Maybe you should allow people to use it but have fetures that are only available to subscribers instead of forcing everybody to pay $60 a year to be able to even use the app. I know you need to cover the cost for all of that stuff but please, let those of us who aren't fortunate enough to get that much cash to be able to continue to use it, especially those that have used it for a very long Time. ### 3/5 — An alright app *2018-11-16* Its an alright app but there some things that could do with improvement or changes altogether. First, there is no way to send private messages to anyone before mutually liking them and them doing the same to you, despite there being an action to do so. Second, when sending said private question, when you play the response to it, you end up having to hear your own question after it has finished. Third, and i'm not saying this to belittle or insult or demean the developer when i say this but the subscription price seems less than worth it. Still, a fairly well done app aside from those problems. ### 1/5 — Not worth downloading, not worth paying for. *2018-11-15* When this app was in its early stages; I thought it was a wonderful app. But as the years went by, and the app grew steadily more popular. I realized that instead of decent and mature people; That the app was beginning to receive immature people who were focused more on bullying, and drama. I finally had to delete the app itself. Because I didn’t see what good it was doing in my life. I was becoming more stressed, and more upset at the fact that there was drama, and bullying going on. It was doing more bad, then good. When I tried to reach out to the developers about the problems that were happening in the app. I was pushed aside, and ignored. I was not the only one who experienced this. I’ve had many friends who used the app that have gone through the same experiences as I did. So this app is not worth downloading, and it’s not worth paying for. ### 3/5 — Finally, a subscription! *2018-11-14, version 1.87* I was thrilled to download the new update to see the subscription options, but I was disturbed to read that a yearly subscription is $49 a month. I'm hoping this is merely a typing error but am too scared to buy a subscription if I'm going to be charged $49 every month instead of yearly. It has not been updated in 3 to 4 years. Some people have some functions some people don’t it’s not fair. The developer promised us that if we paid five dollars a month or $50 a year that would take care of the maintenance. He’s taking the money but not maintaining the app. I feel like he is taking advantage of us because we are blind he sees fast money but he does not care about the app if he did, he would be maintaining an updating it he either needs to update it or take his app off the store. I am getting sick of being treated this way if other people tell me that they want to get this app I am going to make sure that I let them know what kind of treatment they will be given and I will do my hardest to turn them away. They don’t even be taking advantage of like we are. ### 1/5 — Incompatible iPhone, 14 Pro Max *2023-11-03* I found out about this app on the App Store. I have been looking for a long time for an app where blind people can talk make friendships and hopefully relationships would form. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS 17.2. The gestures on the app are not working as the app tells you what to do when I swipe up with one finger, it switches to the app switcher none of the jesters are working. I canceled my free subscription until it gets fixed. Hope you fix the problem. I re-installed it to see how it looks now and I have to say that it is probably one of the least intuitive apps I have ever encountered. Can play questions and answers easily enough, and could probably answer questions,but there seems to be no way to switch to record function, obviously there is, but it’s not self explanatory what so ever, and with a recording app it really needs to be as simple as a setting or a finger swipe, but it isn’t. You’ll find more people to interact with and things to discuss on any other social network. Chatting via voice sounds cool, but why not use Whatsapp?
