No rides available and no way to also pre book. I even tried to change my pickup to a walkable business location near me thinking that would help. Good idea in theory but poorly executed. Even if I found a ride now I don’t think I would book it as I’m not sure I could get back. Also would be nice if no rides are available to give bus rote options and times. ### 1/5 — NEEDS TREMENDOUS IMPROVEMENT. *2024-08-03* There’s never any rides available. If you’re lucky enough to book a ride your most likely your going to be waiting 40 minutes to an hour for your ride to get to you . Not only that you have to share a ride with other passengers which is so unsafe because the ride is so cheap that there’s crackheads and homeless people booking these rides . I am a 17 year old girl and most of the rides I’ve had were shared with homeless, crackhead or really sketchy people. These rides make me so uncomfortable and the seats feel so dirty from all the sweat and dirt built up for the people there before you . ### 2/5 — Its not reliable but its good *2024-07-16* Barely any drivers when needed always at high demand and can never get a ride booked due to high demand other than that i do love the fact that its 2$ a ride EVERYWHERE ! GET MORE VANS AND HIRE MORE DRIVERS FOR 2$ A RIDE OF COURSE YOUR SERVICE IS GOING TO GET HELD UP EXPAND YOUR DRIVERS !!!!! ### 1/5 — Was Great now the worst *2024-07-16* At the beginning of the year the app was great but now you can never get a ride it’s absolutely ridiculous. Also I used to use it as an efficient way to go get groceries but now I can’t even do that when I’m able to get a ride. The lady picking me up refused service because I had more than 2 bags I had 4 and they weren’t big bags that were going to take up space or anything. Moments prior I had fainted in the parking lot because my blood sugar was low I begged her to just take me home she still refused until I asked what if I just put my stuff into two bags. She agreed and I ended up crushing my groceries all for the sake of just wanting to go home. I’ve never had that experience before they used to be so nice and understanding but now IF I get a ride they’re hateful and always wayyyy later than the expected pick up time. I obviously deleted the app after that experience. ### 1/5 — Never anything available *2024-06-20* This app is a joke. Never any cars available. Always just routs you to buses with horrible connection times because Votran’s schedule makers have no idea what they’re doing. This could have been great. But what’s the use if there’s never cars? And what’s the use if the buses are not running properly or have horribly timed connections. And now they’re gonna eliminate more routes to be replaced by this. It’s a joke of a public transit policy and system. ### 1/5 — Was good, has gotten worse *2024-04-12* Don’t expect to get a timely experience if you are riding after April 8th. Since they “expanded” the ride zone the app defaults to taking you to the nearest bus stop especially for anything not in Deland. Also, The app only picks up at intersections, it doesn’t go to bussiness parking lots or home addresses so don’t recommend it for elderly or with children. It used to be a great alternative to Uber and a good use of tax dollars. Now it’s more hassle than it’s worth and the wait times for the simplest rides is astronomical and I’ve almost gotten run over twice getting off or on at literall highways. The company told drivers not to accomodate pasenger because this is strictly NOT a door to door service, I get that. Until someone gets hurt leaving a VoRide… it was almost me. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — dangerous *2026-01-22* The app can make it unclear which side of the road the pickup is on. If you are on the wrong side of the road, the driver waits for you to cross. It doesn’t matter if there is no crosswalk anywhere nearby or the road is busy or it is a main road. They will make you jaywalk or miss your ride. Someone is going to get hurt doing this. It is a safety hazard. The app should make it clearer where to go or the driver should go across the street for you. When your driver’s route passes over the road you are being picked up on more than once, you can’t tell what direction the car is coming from which makes it impossible to know where to wait to be picked up. ### 1/5 — No routes available *2026-01-11* The prices are same as you take taxi ### 1/5 — Overcrowded *2026-01-08* You can’t even get a ride these days because too many people use it. Why do people use it now? for efficient reasons or because they can’t afford to use Lyft or anything no. They use it as a choice because it’s cheaper. I feel as though it should be for people who are unable to afford when Lyft gets too expensive but now people are just using it because it’s cheaper than Lyft so they can save money. So then the people who actually have to use it cause they don’t have a choice can’t. ### 1/5 — Never works and drivers are rude *2026-01-05, version 4.25* I have tried on more than 10 separate occasions to order a ride. Every single time it says “no rides available”. The ONE time I EVER got a ride, the driver kicked me out in the middle of MOVING CARS and drove away. This app sucks! ### 1/5 — Total Garbage *2026-01-01* Downloaded because I was told VoRide could get me from downtown Deland to the Sunrail station that’s right there. NOPE I open the app and it basically says “Not available because public transportation here is great”. Bull! I tried to catch the bus, nope they’re done for the night. But the Voride app insists I take the bus. Ended up just going with Uber. Don’t waste your time with this it’s completely useless. ### 1/5 — Ride destinations *2025-11-12* At first this app was great, the gps was iffy but if you told the driver that your destination was actually across the street rather than where the gps told them to drop you off, they’d do the courtesy of leaving you at your actual intended destination. Apparently, they’ve recently told the drivers they're not allowed to change the drop off or pickup destination WHATSOEVER. If you’re going to do that, fix your crazy gps so you can actually get dropped of where you need to be. Ill place the pin of my dropoff PRECISELY where it needs to be, and I keep getting dropped off across two busy streets and the drivers cannot just take me there. I’ve almost been ran over once because I had to cross those two streets. Another instance is that instead of being picked up at my location, its now making me walk a distance uphill to reach my driver. Fun fact, between that time someone kept trying to pretend to be an uber driver to pick me up while I repeatedly said no. I was actively on the phone with my driver, but they wouldn't pick me up cause I needed to walk to them. Im a small, young girl. I weigh 100 pounds. this is ridiculous. This is so dangerous considering you have people who are as young as 13 using this app. Start worrying about your user safety. I had to walk to a pawn shop down the street because i couldn’t tell when my ride was coming as the app didn’t even know its self. there was no option, or feature, or section to find/see where your booked ride is or find it’s schedule. And the people are just so very rude. I was not ONCE treated with an ounce of respect by anyone but instead given shade and a nasty attitude.
