## What is VORTEX Storm Intelligence?

VORTEX is real-time severe weather intelligence for the United States — tornado warnings, live radar, and NWS-powered alerts in one fast, focused app.

WHAT YOU GET
• Live NWS alerts — tornado, severe thunderstorm, flash flood, and winter warnings the moment they're issued, mapped to your exact location.
• Tornado tracking — follow active tornado warnings with storm-motion projection: the funnel's path, 15/30/45-minute lead points, and a detail card with bearing and speed.
• Live radar — smooth animated radar on a clean dark map, plus satellite, snow, wildfire, and earthquake layers.
• Risk scoring — a real-time severe-weather risk score for your home and saved locations, built from CAPE, shear, and storm-relative helicity.
• Multiple locations — track home and the places that matter to you.

BUILT ON OFFICIAL DATA
VORTEX is powered by the National Weather Service (NWS), NOAA, and the Storm Prediction Center — the same sources emergency managers rely on.

CRITICAL ALERTS FOR LIFE-SAFETY
Tornado warnings can reach you even when your phone is silenced or in Do Not Disturb, so a life-threatening warning is never missed. You're always in control of which alerts break through.
