- Fresh 2026 ratings, automatically: the app now picks up newly published race ratings when you return to it, and this update ships with the latest consensus data.
- Fixed: upgrading to Premium now turns on iCloud sync immediately.

- Siri and Shortcuts: ask about any 2026 race, check how your map currently leans, or jump straight into your saved scenarios — from Siri, Spotlight, or the Shortcuts app.
- Saved scenarios now load in the background, so launching the app and switching maps stay smooth.
- Fixed: gaining Premium outside the paywall (like restoring a purchase) now turns on iCloud sync immediately.
- The rating prompt now waits until you've really explored a map instead of interrupting after a save.

- Declare your 2026 midterm forecast: lock in your calls for every Senate and House race and get a shareable certificate with your forecast's fingerprint. As races are called this fall, your forecast is scored against the real results.

- Tapping a state with no contest on the ballot now explains why it can't be called instead of doing nothing.

- Party tallies keep fixed sides now, in alphabetical order from left to right (ie. Democrats on the left, Republicans on the right, no matter who's ahead.) The columns no longer trade places as the lead changes while you edit.
- In the More menu, Rename and Delete now show the scenario's name underneath the action instead of crammed into one label, so long scenario names read cleanly.

### 1.34 — 2026-08-06

- Race details list candidates by name with incumbents marked, and DC is hidden in chambers where it has no race.
- Sharing now produces a proper card — your map, the running tallies, and the scenario name — instead of a bare screenshot.
- Your Senate and House maps now survive closing the app. Every race you call is kept, so a map you spent real time on is still there when you come back.
- The scenario you're working in stays loaded. Reopen VoteMapper and you're still in that saved scenario, not a blank map that happens to look like it.

We also fixed:
- States with an evenly split House delegation could change color when you edited a district somewhere else.
- Tapping a state could report a change that never happened.
