I'm like the pickiest app user and unless the app benefits me in some way or solves some issue I have in my life, I don't even bother to download things. I barely download an app these days because I usually just end up deleting it a few days later as I end up never using it. So when I heard about this Voux app, I was not thinking much about it as many apps claim to be lifestyle apps. But after seeing the website with their cool video, I decided to give them a shot downloaded it because I thought maybe they could solve my problem with hanging out with my friends. I hate trying to getting people to hang out for something and then not knowing who is really coming or texting a bunch of people where we are set to go and then getting me there and not knowing who showed up, or who didn't or who is on the way. Drives me nuts. I also hate when you go to something and everyone has pictures but then some ppl share them but then others forget and you end up missing photos from the event. So I wanted to see if Voux could do something about this...and wow, it's truly an amazing app. It really is like an All-IN-ONE "lifestyle"app for activities and events or whatever else you do with your friends. I am still amazed how well it brings so many things from other apps together. First thing I did was created a "hotspot" for my house and my gym and for work and my hangout spots on the weekend. And then I invited the friends that I usually do these different things with. And then I discovered the real-time alerts feature and enabled them for all the different friends and family and co workers for all those spots. And the best part is it can be all private which means nobody else can see or read whatever I say to different people in different spots I created. And whenever either of us attend, or arrive or decide to cancel or leave the gym or party or club or in my case my house early, the app let's only the particular people know for that particular spot or activity or event. It's amazing. Whenever we take pictures now or wanna chat about something, it's all shared in the app. Some days I only use this app to do anything with because it really has combined all the features I need when hanging out or hitting the gym or meeting up with my co workers or visiting my family. I love love love this app. I been waiting for an app like this for years. I love the many features in it which I am still discovering days later. I really love the privacy and how you can control everything from deleting your messages or other messages, sharing or deleting pics in your spots, and the alerts which keep everyone in the loop without having to text and ask where are you and stuff. It's just perfect for people who really do lots of activities or just want to keep in close contact with your one friend for that one thing you go to once in a while or every week. It's really the best lifestyle activity and events app out there now. Hope they keep adding more features and keep improving on this app. It really has the potential to be a game changer at some point in the future if they do it right. The app is actually really cool on its own, but when you add your friends and family or "peep" as they say, it really begins to make your life much simpler and easier. I am an extremely busy person so I would never have time to see or text everyone or do all this coordinating and scheduling. This app just get it right in allowing you to setup your day or week and everyone can be apart of your lifestyle in the way that you choose..for whatever it is you want to do with them. Once you set up the hotspots and invites and the alerts..the app literally starts to work on its own. (I would definitely check out their website though and read through the FAQs which are extremely helpful.) But even I have to admit....it really does what they advertise, and just makes it so much easier to hang with my friends and family now. So for my first review ever, I highly recommend this app cause it definitely has me living #thevouxlife!
