## What is Vowel?

The vowels have been stolen.

Famous proverbs, quotes, and sayings from around the world have lost their vowels. Your job: figure out what each sentence says and drag the missing letters back into place — before the clock hits zero.

Vowel Thief is a fast-paced word puzzle that tests your vocabulary, pattern recognition, and speed. Each round strips the vowels from a well-known phrase and scrambles them into a tray of letter chips. Some chips are decoys that don't belong anywhere. Can you tell the real ones from the fakes?

DRAG, DROP, SOLVE
Drag vowel chips from the tray and drop them directly onto words. Prefer a slower pace? Tap to select a vowel, then tap a slot to place it. Both methods work seamlessly — play however feels natural.

THREE DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Easy: Short phrases, generous time, minimal decoys. Perfect for warming up.
Medium: Longer sentences with more decoy vowels to sort through. The sweet spot for most players.
Hard: Complex quotes with pre-filled fragments and maximum decoys. Only the fastest word nerds survive.

HINT WHEN YOU'RE STUCK
Every round gives you one hint. Tap the lightbulb to reveal a couple of correct letters — but it costs 8 seconds off your timer. Use it wisely.

240+ HANDPICKED SENTENCES
Proverbs from around the world, timeless quotes, and common sayings — each one chosen to be recognisable but challenging with its vowels removed. Play dozens of rounds before seeing a repeat.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
High scores, accuracy percentages, and perfect-round counts are tracked separately for each difficulty level. Chase your personal best or reset and start fresh.
