Adding audio is icing on the cake.The stock sounds are pretty good, but the downloadable ones are better. The user interface is absolutely genius and easy to use!! I've already recorded some keeper ideas. Totally unintuitive and buggy. I couldn’t stop playback at one point and it kept going, EVEN after killing the app! The mic option on the headphones (3 different sets, one brand new) will only pick up the hi hat, and it's laggy so the best quantizer in the world couldn't help. I’ve been trying Humbeatz too, and this is just ten times more usable. I wind up with beats that are approximately what I intended (though being able to change the quantization grid density would be nice), unlike with the other one. This /could/ become part of my workflow. I have long loved the idea of being able to create finished beats starting with beatboxing and/or tabletop drumming. (This app works great for the latter too.) But without MIDI out, I can’t do much with it without having to do an additional, manual step. Meaning, notate the beat on paper and copy it over to—say—Funk Drummer.
