## What is Voxbend?

Voxbend is an on-device voice changer. Record or import a clip, pick an effect, and hear the bend immediately. Recordings stay on this device.

VERSION 1.6 NOTE SNAP
Note Snap is unique to this app. Enter a detected pitch and it snaps to the nearest degree of C major, A minor, or C pentatonic. Rate and formant stay where you set them. This is not Morph Board, which blends two effect recipes. It is not auto-tune of a live take. If no pitch is entered, the plate stays empty.

Morph Board remains available for blending two voices into a custom effect. Pitch Analyser still uses Yin on a clip.

- Compare the original and effected clip instantly with A/B Preview.
- Learn the effects with six included calibration clips for vowels, pitch, sibilance, plosives, dynamics, and vocal texture.
- Save imported and calibration clips reliably to the Library.
- Improved trimming compatibility and audio-session cleanup.

Everything still runs on-device with no account, network connection, ads, analytics, or tracking.

Preview Readiness — the Studio now shows exactly what the Preview button will do before you tap it: load the built-in demo, preview the current clip, stop playback, or wait while recording/exporting. This makes demo playback clearer on iPad and on devices where microphone access is unavailable or denied.

The build keeps the Pitch Analyser, custom Effect Lab, 16 built-in voices, clip trimming, favorites, library search, and on-device export workflow.

What's New in Voxbend 1.3

Pitch Analyser - a first-of-its-kind feature for a voice changer: tap  -> "Analyse pitch" on any clip to see the musical note at the centre of your voice, your vocal range (lowest and highest notes detected), a bar chart of every note hit, and your inferred voice type (Baritone, Tenor, Alto, Soprano, and more). Based on the Yin pitch-detection algorithm used in professional audio software. Works on your own recordings and the demo clip.

Two new effects - Narrator (warm, velvet broadcaster: deepened pitch, formant drop, and a rich low-shelf boost) and Elf (mischievously high and tinny: big pitch jump, bright formant, and light bit-brush grit). Brings the built-in effect count to 16.
