## What is voxelizeAR?

VoxelizeAR is a novel augmented reality app that lets you turn the real world into voxels (3D pixels). Paint on the screen to convert parts of the world into blocky, pixelated geometry. 

Features:

• Turn the world around you into voxels. This is much more than a simple filter, voxelizeAR is an augmented reality app sp the voxelization effect persists even when you walk around!

• Real time voxel color updates. VoxelizeAR dynamically updates the color of voxels to capture changes in the scene, such as flowing water.

• Change voxel sizes. Use small size to capture fine details or larger sizes for a more chunky look.

• Voxelize just want you want. Use different brush sizes to control which parts of the world become pixelated.

• Capture photos and videos of your voxelized creations.

Devices with a LiDAR sensor can voxelize arbitrary 3D objects. Devices without one can still run voxelizerAR great but can only voxelize flat surfaces.

This app is amazing, it feels like the future when you are using it.

Can you please update to export voxels please? A snapshot, or short amount of seconds to get looping texture. Would love to bring this into other applications. Magica Voxel/Maya.

Thanks for a great launch! This update improves voxel coloring and also greatly improves drawing so you can better voxelize just the bits of the world you want. Highlights:

- Better voxel color sampling. We now sample from more points to determine voxel color. This results in more stable and accurate voxel colors.

- Better brush shapes. We now use circular brushes instead of rectangular ones.

- 3D drawing. For devices with a LiDAR sensor, we now use depth data to help with voxel placement. When you draw, voxels will only be placed at roughly the same depth as where you are currently touching. This makes it easier to just voxelize a foreground object without accidentally also voxelizing the background.

- Enabled foreground occlusion by default for devices with LiDAR sensors. This can be disabled in the '...' menu.

- Improved performance and other bug fixes
