## What is Voxhops?

Voxhops turns anything you record into clean, searchable text — and it all happens on your device. No account. No subscription. Nothing is uploaded.

FLAG THE MOMENTS THAT MATTER
Tap the flag button while you record to mark an important moment. Later, jump straight back to that exact spot — the audio and the sentence are right there. Stop and flag from the Lock Screen too, without unlocking your phone.

TRANSCRIBE ON YOUR DEVICE
Recordings are transcribed locally using on-device speech recognition. Your audio never leaves your phone for transcription.

KNOW WHO SAID WHAT
Voxhops automatically labels speakers in multi-person recordings. Rename or merge speakers with a tap.

MADE TO BE EDITED
Fix a word, correct the wording, or reassign a line to a different speaker. The original is always preserved.

WORKS IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Automatic language detection across dozens of languages, with a manual override whenever you want it.

EXPORT ANYWHERE
Share a transcript as text, or export SRT / VTT subtitle files for video — with timestamps and speaker labels included. Share the original audio whenever you choose.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- On-device transcription — no network required to record or transcribe
- No account, no sign-in, no tracking
- Recordings are stored encrypted on your device
- Optional recovery passphrase so only you can open your recordings
- Your recordings never leave your phone unless you share them yourself

Voxhops is built for anyone who records and needs the words back: meetings, lectures, study notes, voice memos, and conversations you want to keep.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-07-15

A new Quotes tab collects every moment you've flagged across all your recordings. Transcription reliability: recordings no longer show "Failed" while waiting to transcribe — they now say "Waiting…" and finish on their own, and transcription keeps running briefly after you lock your phone.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-07

No release notes.
