## What is Voxhub?

Voxhub iPhone Edition is a softphone and instant messaging app for existing customers of the Voxhub service. Once installed the user logs in with their Voxhub account details and has access to an immediate portable extension based on their Voxhub workstyle profile. All telephone numbers, features, extensions, team lines and instant messaging follows them be used on their mobile.

Voxhub iPhone Edition is designed for use over Wifi or 4G Internet connections meaning it can be used by workers that travel extensively between multiple offices, across campus environments, ad hoc home working and as a backup phone for business continuity.

All settings are configured automatically and provisioned centrally, making it simple to roll out to multiple users, large groups and teams. Licensing and billing is managed as a single account meaning there is no hassle with managing employee expenses and removing access remotely should an employee leave or require access to be revoked.

Inside Voxhub iPhone Edition, we have added convenient controls to make it easy to choose only to receive personal direct dial calls and / or main line team calls. If people are working in a noisy environment they can select not to receive calls from company main numbers.

With Voxhub iPhone Edition users also have mobile access to the Voxhub Instant Messaging service. This ideal companion to our desktop service means it is possible to view real-time presence status information of others in the company whilst on the move and send and receive messages as normal.

This App is only available to registered Voxhub users and to those with mobile hotdesk licenses. Existing customers please contact our Customer team by dialling 150 from your phone.

The app doesn’t always stay running in the background. You have to keep opening it again for it to then log in again.

Often calling a desk phone an automated answer comes up. “Recipient unavailable” but you dial immediately again and they answer and say the phone never rang. This happens 15% of the time so quite frustrating. VOIP is not for everyone.

There's no way of stopping voice calls from killing the app - really bad if you are talking to clients.

It's buggy; sometimes crashes but audio continues. Dealing with contacts (updating etc) crashes the app regularly.
