## What is Voy en Taxi?

Voy en Taxi es la aplicación de smartphone uruguaya con la que podrás pedir taxi en todo el territorio nacional.
¡Se uno de los primeros en utilizarla!
Desarrollada por un equipo de jóvenes profesionales uruguayos, es una aplicación muy intuitiva y de fácil uso.
DESCUBRE SUS CARACTERÍSTICAS:
PRÁCTICA: observa el desplazamiento del móvil en tiempo real y recibe una alerta sonora cuando el taxista haya arribado.
SIMPLE: sólo es necesario marcar tu ubicación en el mapa e incorporar un número de puerta para pedir un taxi.
MUY SEGURA: Voy en Taxi es la única aplicación en Uruguay que te asegura el arribo de un taxista formal cada vez que pidas un móvil. Para la seguridad de los conductores y de los clientes el pedido se procesa únicamente para clientes registrados.
GRATIS: nunca tendrás que pagar por utilizar la aplicación y sólo necesitas tener una conexión a Internet en tu celular.
SOCIAL: puedes calificar al conductor e incluir un breve texto para compartir tu experiencia. 

CÓMO FUNCIONA?
1. Utiliza tu GPS para marcar tu ubicación actual e ingresa tu número de puerta para solicitar un taxi.
2. Solicita taxi y aguarda unos segundos hasta que recibas la confirmación del móvil con el nombre, número de coche y foto del taxista asignado.
3. Podrás calificar tu viaje una vez indicado que ya estás en el taxi.

Interesting that the reviews so far are several years old, all at one or two stars, but the summary says 1 review at 5 stars. Anyway, here’s a new (2025) review: Works OK if you use the map to set your destination, but if you try to type it in, you will get a blank screen and the only way out is to quit the app and flip it out of your history (or restart the phone). Once you set your destination on the map, you will get an approximate price. That’s as far as I’ve gone so far, don’t need a taxi yet but wanted to set it up and test before I actually need it. this app was written by the same guy who wrote the 141 Taxi app which works a bit better.

Efectivamente María Isabel estaba en lo cierto, puesto que al introducir el destino deseado la pantalla, automáticamente y sin previo aviso, se desvanece en un negro intenso.

Todas mis ilusiones que había puesto es esta APP solo me han traído decepciones. 
Es INACEPTABLE. 

Y no me despido puesto que estoy gravemente afectado.

Both my son and I downloaded the app on Apple phones... everything was smooth until you start putting in the address the app froze --- white screen and did not do anything.  It's too bas because was looking forward to having an alternative to UBER

Es horrible la app, el taxista tiene la chance de cancelar el viaje cuando se le antoja, tendrían que cambiar eso antes de confirmar número de móvil y tiempo estimado de llegada. Directamente tendría q llegar el mensaje al taxista y si lo acepta o no, una vez confirmado el viaje no tendría q poder cancelarlo

Va con animo constructivo.

Falta UX. La registracion usaría Digits para lograr registrar más rápido y simple, trataría de viralizar con redes sociales, trataría de incluir gamification, etc
Es importante en mi humilde opinión lograr un incentivo para cambiar de algo que ya funciona muy bien como Easy Taxi.
No parece que un Diseñador participara de la UX. Le diría a Dourado que ponga más recursos para realmente hacerla mejor.
