I have to go to my laptop and log in there. The customer service rep said to go to Apple and request help with the app from there. Apparently Voyager has no app support?!? To make matters worse, I received texts that my new debit card was mailed and the very next day, another text that the old card was deactivated and the new one was ready for use. Zero confidence in Voya. ### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work *2025-09-12, version 20.6.0* If I log into this app it will tell me that no account exists which is very alarming. If I log into the web app I can see my data. Why have a mobile app at all? Honestly inexcusable for a large company or even a small one. I will be putting all my HSA funds into Optum HSA instead as this does not breed confidence in Voya that they are responsible with my resources. ### 1/5 — Will raise your blood pressure *2025-08-08, version 20.4.0* This app must have been developed by a blind monkey with memory problems using a Commodore 64 computer from 1988. The app and website are so slow, can’t see any way to invest, and there’s limited info to help you manage the account . The app doesn’t load half the time and gets stuck at login window with spinning circle. EVERY-TIME you open the app it has to load the login screen and then I have to log in. It is worse than just going to the website. App is useless and constantly crashes like others have mentioned. No, it has not gotten better. The website is a little bit better but still has bugs too. Finally decided to cut loose ends, delete the app, and close my Voya account. It’s not worth being charged monthly fees on my HSA account with the quality Voya provides. I will never use flex spending now. It crashes before you are able to do anything. For the amount of money Voya is making off us It use, you would think it would have apps that work. I have receive a email that I could login on the app but it still gives me a error code and customer service has no idea what that means. Which this doesn’t surprise me. ### 1/5 — terrible i’m leaving my employer because of this app *2025-03-12, version 14.0.0001* the app is absolutely terrible and not meant to be helpful for the customer. It crashes on most attempts the manage expenses where you’d put in copies of your receipt to reimburse yourself for an OTC or other purchase. If you get past the crash, it took over two mins to submit my expense with a small receipt as an attachment. And no, it is not my connection speed. Then you don’t even get any conf#. Then it crashes when i try to go to any other screen. Finally, Optum would at least know my bills and my Rx that needed to be paid. I could just tap that transaction and submit my receipt and instant reimbursement or it would log any overage request and pay me as the payments came into them. This was handy when i had a surgery at the beginning of the year. I submitted my expenses and got money every check for the rest of the year. With Voya, I can only submit after enough money is in the account which in my situation would not even be this year. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2025-03-01, version 14.0.0001* Urgent major improvements are needed to this app. ### 1/5 — Have FaceID *2025-01-27, version 14.0.0001* It’s ridiculous the app doesn’t have an option for to login via Face ID. Having to type in your pw each time is a pain. Please fix this! ### 1/5 — Voya is incapable of processing claims *2024-09-03, version 14.0.0001* For two weeks I’ve tried to process a claim for OTC medication for which I have MD’s letter of necessity. Voya has always been a substandard FSA company, but now - it’s impossible to file claims. I’ve tried several times, and can view the receipts at the time I upload, but several days later, there’s no evidence that a claim was filed, nor are any receipts on file. They tell me now to email them the claims with documentation, so it appears the apps, both iOS and Windows, won’t be working anytime soon. Voya management is completely incompetent, just grifting from employers and making overworked employees spin their wheels to get reimbursed with our OWN $$!! ### 1/5 — Voya continues to be a big frustration *2024-08-21* I’ve been using FSA vendors for decades and just when you think it can’t get worse, they update software and does it make things easier or better, noooo! Good example of how inept they are - last year they made a huge mistake and all the plan participants of my organization, were not enrolled in their FSA plans. They must be really cheap otherwise I can’t imagine why my employer stays with them. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No point *2026-07-10, version 315.4.0* You can’t even do anything on the app you have to call in for every single thing ### 1/5 — I have to reset my password every time *2026-05-11, version 315.4.0* I have my password saved on my phone but when I try logging in it tells me I have to reset it every single time. Even when I just reset it two minutes ago. Absolute trash! ### 1/5 — Almost useless *2026-04-28, version 315.4.0* The app does not use biometrics like Face ID to log in. You have to use your username and password every time you login. But the worst part is that if you switch out of the app to look at a date on a receipt, for example, and you switch back, app logs you out and you have to start all over again from scratch. I’ve never seen a modern day app at behave like that. ### 1/5 — This App Sucks *2026-03-03, version 312.19.0* 90% of the time this app states I have no open account… absolutely useless! ### 1/5 — Nothing but Problems *2026-02-26, version 312.19.0* Worst app and support I’ve ever experienced in all of my online interactions. It doesn’t accept your password and redirect you to change it. You change it and then it doesn’t accept the new password. Waiting a day to let their system update doesn’t change. Your current/past login for the old app is unlikely to work. Go to the website if the app doesn’t let you register. ### 2/5 — Forced to download- doesn’t have pages as displayed in App Store *2023-09-25* Update: when I opened the app a day or so later it DID now give me the expected FSA claim pages as in the old app. So apparently it takes some period of time to start working- weird. The app as downloaded does NOT have the claims pages displayed in the App Store preview. It required me to create a new login and will show me my previous claims but doesn’t have any way to submit a new one. It also says at the top to go to the App Store to download something- that link just takes me back here. What I’m seeing looks more like a web app. ### 2/5 — Recent July 2023 Update Not Good *2023-07-27* The app worked perfectly for me until today. I opened the app and it told me to install the updated version.
