## What is Voyel?

If you are fed up with complicated business travel with lot's of meeting and appointment, Voyel will help you.
Send travel documents  to Voyel and Apple Intelligence will create the relevant event.
It will be displayed in different view according to your preference. It can also calculate trip time between two event, no need to prepare everything in advance !
Your data are stored on your iCloud for maximum safety and privacy.

**Smarter document extraction (Apple Intelligence)**

More accurate event detection: only confirmed events with clear dates, locations, and event type.
Flights and hotels are detected only when the document explicitly says so—fewer wrong guesses.
Departure and arrival locations are extracted separately for transport events.
Each suggested event includes a source quote from your document for easier review.
Ignores administrative lines (gate, seat, baggage, price, etc.).
Better handling when the year is missing on tickets and confirmations.
Improved processing for long or multi-section documents.

**Optional cloud extraction (Beta)**

Choose OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Mistral in Settings with your own API key (stored securely in Keychain).
Better for long itineraries and multi-event PDFs (larger text context).
Pick a model from a live catalog or use suggested defaults.

What’s New in This Version?

# Smarter dates when adding events from documents
When you add events from AI-processed documents (e.g. boarding passes or itineraries), the app now uses the current date so events get the correct year. If the document doesn’t mention a year, events will no longer default to the wrong year.
Better behavior when you change the start date
When you edit the start date of an event (from the main event form or when creating an event from a document), the end time (hour and minute) is kept.
Only the day is adjusted so the end stays after the start. You no longer lose your chosen end time.

# Easier to see multi-day events
* In the Timeline and list views, events that span several days now show the full date and time for both start and end (e.g. “15 Mar 14:00 → 17 Mar 18:00 • 2d 4h”) so you can see the full range at a glance.
* In the Gantt view, the tooltip now shows one clear date range (e.g. “15 Mar 14:00 – 17 Mar 18:00”) so multi-day events are easier to read.

After you save a trip or an event, you may occasionally see a prompt to rate the app. It only appears after a successful action, with a short delay, and at most once per app version. Your reviews help us improve Voyel.
