A recommendation would be to provide fuel economy in metric on liters per 100 km rather than km per liter. That is the world standard ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2017-10-08, version 0.3.5* Really slow, not working properly ### 4/5 — Sporadic! But had potential *2016-12-31, version 0.3.1* I preordered mine and got in in esrly October. However I can't do much with it yet since I'm still waiting for the 2 relays. In all the app needs fine tuning in order to run in background. This will be tricky since it's Apple. The open trunk and lock and unlock is 😎. However doesn't always work and had issues with it at times. I would still considered this in beta stage and the travel logs is probably the best feature that's working. One suggestion would be add LTE to it so it can be accessed from anywhere. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2016-11-02, version 0.3.1* I know its still early so updates to come. Both agreed we got around 25mpg but VOYO says we only got 14mpg... sounds like there is a unit conversion issue. When they first launched this kickstarted I was very excited as they showed promising features and donated $200. This was the worst thing I could have done in my life, years later they are still “working on things”. Forget this company and what they have to offer - nothing. ### 1/5 — Pretty disappointed...yet another Kickstarter let down *2017-08-24, version 0.3.5* Edited Review: changed from 2 stars to 1. Complete waste of money. The updates they push do absolutely nothing. The interface is about as low budget as you can get and the data is at least a week behind. According to Voyo my car is 3 states away despite having made the trip over a week ago. It's going to get disconnected and thrown in my junk toolbox. You have to restart the app every time you get in your car so it's not very practical. Will also quit periodically while you're driving so I'll get to my destination and big chunks of my drive are missing. I also get 'hard braking' warnings just about every time I press the brakes which is annoying to say the least. Bottom line: don't waste your money. Who did they get as the dev on this app. So far this thing is worthless, I don't even want to plug the device into my vehicle. Nothing works as advertised big waist of time and money. Don't waist your money. I email them and they responded with a generic we are working on it. Hmmmm. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2016-12-06, version 0.3.1* What's the point? Besides reporting "hard braking" repeatedly, this app and the VOYO device provide no other clear value. Seems it has to be running to collect data, but doesn't provide info sufficient for me to bother to launch it. Maybe it will get better, but I'll be hard pressed to pony up for additional relays based on their promised functionality. ### 1/5 — If we ever get the device *2016-10-21, version 0.3.1* So I am a backer of this product and one of the first to actually buy into it. Over a month ago they shipped out test devices with the rest to ship out 2 weeks or so after. It has yet to show up. The idea of this device seems cool and very functional. The level of customer service and communication from this company is that of an unborn child. Originally this were to ship at the beginning of 2016. It is not almost 2017. They have extensive lapses in communication and updates to their backers and supporters and when they do respond they respond with vague language and never answer any questions directly. This was my first kick starter that I backed and I honestly will probably be my last one. If I could get my money back I would. Highly recommend!! ### 5/5 — Great for my aging parents! *2025-04-03, version 0.4.38* I got a VOYO for my elderly parents to help keep an eye on their driving and make sure they’re safe. They run the app in the background on their phones, and I get real-time updates—without needing to pay for a pricey data plan. What I really appreciate is that VOYO sends instant texts if the car isn’t left in a safe condition, like if the engine’s still running or a door is left open. It gives me real peace of mind, and the new feature that lets you connect directly to a repair shop is a great bonus. ### 5/5 — Great for Women *2025-03-29, version 0.4.38* As a single woman I’ve had shops try to charge higher prices for repairs I don’t need. With this new VOYink feature I connect to three different shops. If my car needs service I immediately get three different quotes without having to call or bring my car into the shop. This really helps with transparency and fair pricing! ### 5/5 — Impressive new features! *2025-03-27, version 0.4.38* The app has added some great new features. I can now connect my car to my repair shop. They automatically get alerts and can see my cars info without having to bring it into the shop. Also has a new web portal making it much easier to keep track of my family vehicles particularly when it’s time for an oil change. ### 5/5 — Exactly what I need *2025-03-20, version 0.4.38* I just want to know at all times if there are any problems with my car. I clear most codes myself but have had to visit my mechanic a few times. The battery warning saved us while skiing recently with car parked outside. With the VOYO app, I can see where the cars are located and how they are being driven. If a car has a malfunction, I get a txt message with details on the problem. As time goes on the software gets better and better and I’ve started to really appreciate the data VOYO collects for work purposes. It has taken a long time to get here but this isn’t developed by a company like Apple or Microsoft with a huge staff of programmers; it’s complicated tech and I understand that. It seems to be able to scan more diagnostics than some other products that I have tried. ### 5/5 — Excellent Update *2018-01-23, version 0.3.6* Voyo is a great way to control my car. I was part of the Kickstarter campaign, and one reason I supported the device was the potential for increased functionality via app updates. The latest update proves that out - trip log accuracy is much improved, and it’s very cool controlling the door locks with the Autokey function. It sounds minor, but reaching for my key fob with everything I have in my pockets can be a mess, while I always have my phone in my hand. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s added next. ### 5/5 — Still being developed *2017-03-11, version 0.3.1* This app is still in development and therefore does not have all of the features that are planned enabled. The app works just fine for what it is supposed to be capable of as of now. For those who backed the project and have not received their Voyo port, it is likely that the vehicle you registered with your account, or your phone, are incompatible with the current version of software. It would be pointless to send something that can't be used. I cannot stress this enough. THE PROJECT IS NOT COMPLETE AND IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE.
