The app is great, but can quickly become cluttered the more you create timers. It would be fantastic to have the option to categorize timers. ### 4/5 — Very Good *2023-09-16* This is a very good timer that I have been using with increasing frequency now that I am accustomed to it. The only thing that it lacks, so far, is that there is no way to synchronize my iPhone and iPad. Develop a response to my question regarding synchronization was immediate. Excellent customer service! I will look forward to, hopefully, to the addition of synchronization. ### 3/5 — Nice app for what it does *2022-08-29* The time allows you to choose from a preset list of countdown times but doesn't allow you to set a time you want. Eg allows yo to pick 5s, 19, but not 11, 12, 13, 14 Or 1:00pm but not 1:23pm the reminder chimes once and leaves note on screen but does not leave a persistent audio ring until turned off, so if you had stepped out of room you'd have missed the bell. If the preset times choices meet your needs and your always right by and using the iPad/iPhone it could work. ### 3/5 — No sound alerts working *2022-08-29* Nice looking app, well laid out and very easy to use. Deserves 5 Starts but only get 3 Stars as unfortunately though sounds work fine while testing within the app, they don’t play when timers end. Notifications are all set to on in iOS Settings, even tried resetting there just in case but still no go. Instead, the keyboard flashes open for an instant and disappears ???? 7/14/21 09:00 When I downloaded Amazing Timer last week, I was unable to open up settings and upgrade to pro In the meantime, the app has been updated and the developer generously provided another opportunity to obtain the pro version for free I like that there are multiple types of timers in this app, and that the app itself takes up so little room on my phone I will start using this and update this review as needed Now, if I will just PAY ATTENTION to the timers, I might get something finished 🤦🏻‍♂️ **Developer response:** We are sorry. Fiona (think that's what the app said when the timer ended) spoke to me and scared a little bit. Dev listens to users and as of 13/7/21 the iAP is free. Just need iCloud sharing and it's 5* ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Nudges don’t work *2024-10-19* The nudges don’t work most of the time ### 1/5 — Almost perfect, ruined by major design flaw. *2023-01-17* I was initially over the moon with this App! I would have given it 5 stars, it seemed close to perfect for my needs... however, I noticed the battery drain when using it was very high. It turns out that in order to function, this app must emit a constant quiet but noticeable hiss from the speaker. I messaged the developer, believing it was a bug they would fix. The explanation was that when the timer is on, the hiss must be emitted so that app doesn’t turn off the app when it’s in the background or the screen is switched off, or something to that effect. I.e., it is a feature that cannot be fixed. This seems ridiculous to me as there are so many apps that can run in the background without a constant hissing noise draining the battery in such a way. They implied absolutely no intention or ability to amend this problem, so I feel like my money was wasted upgrading to the pro version since now I basically don’t use the app. It’s a real shame because if it weren’t for that fundamental crucial flaw, this would probably be my favourite and most used app. ### 1/5 — Als Alarm oder Wecker untauglich *2021-11-30* Ich habe die Werbefreie Version. Wäre echt eine tolle App! . Antwort auf Entwickler: Ja genau, Benachrichtigungstöne kommen mal ja, mal nein… trotz Aufhebung der Stummschaltung, so wars auch gemeint. . Update: Leider weiterhin keine hilfreiche Antwort. Und KLAPPT NICHT NACH AUFHEBUNG DER STUMMSCHALTUNG! Clickbait? *2021-07-08* Downloaded this with the expectation of upgrading to pro for free via apps gone free. Opened app and everything worked BUT the settings button that you were supposed to click to be able to upgrade. How can everything work BUT the settings button? Miraculously, now that the free offer is expired the settings button works beautifully ….. and the upgrade is no longer free. That “bug” sure came and left at the perfect time. For today only, was supposed to also receive a Lifetime Pro Upgrade for free. Downloaded the app, and tried to access the in-app purchases through settings, only to find the settings button is completely non-functional. Delete the app and reinstalled it 3 times. No change. There’s even a link in the App Store to get the Lifetime Pro Upgrade for free, but clicking the GET button just opens the app, with it’s dummy settings button. Select a timer, specify the task, assign a time limit or deadline, and color-code as needed. I love that you can personalize the background for additional motivation, such as an incentive for holding yourself accountable. Two features would make me love this app even more: 1. The ability to prioritize tasks by dragging instead of manually selecting from the menu for each task (move up, move down, move to the top, move to the bottom) 2. The ability to have multiple work spaces While you can scroll down to see tasks that are out of view, it would be great to have the option to categorize tasks (home tasks on one page, work tasks on another, interval training timers on another, etc.). ### 5/5 — Excellente application *2023-10-19* Elle est belle, efficace, fonctionnelle.
