The app does what is says on the box, so to speak, but it’s not self healing (it frequently drops the VPN connection and I must manually reconnect) and the autopilot feature frequently prevents my phone connecting to public wifi networks (I must turn off autopilot, connect to the public wifi network and then turn on the VPN manually). I reckon some more work must be done under the bonnet to get this goose sailing smoothly (at the time of writing this review, the last iOS app update was 1y ago).

They have almost instantaneous support and so far I am happy with their service. But they are falling behind in terms of number of servers and other protocols like wireguard and openvpn udp. I like to see extra features developed.

Didn’t help with bbc iplayer but otherwise it’s seems to be good enough vpn service for public WiFi networks and the like. I have zero technical issues with the app.

I do not like the app since it disconnects very often and does not have a kill switch. Other VPN providers have apps with more features than GOOSE VPN.

I was trying the free trail to see if I liked this VPN, I cancelled on the 16th feb 2024 well within the time frame of the free trial. 
On my subscription page, this subscription was marked as expired, yet today, they attempted to take £59.99 out of my bank for a years subscription, apple have cancelled and made sure they can’t charge my account again. 
Extremely concerning to think they have tried to charge me for an expired trial, I wonder how many have had funds taken after cancelling the free trial. 
Extremely dodgy and unethical.

This app hasn’t been updated in over a year and collects, and links data, from/to you. 

The good VPN apps have “data not collected” with a checkmark, apps like this have zero reason to collect it outside of something nefarious or dishonest.
