Trying to use the app to update or fix the schedule is even more worthless. Most of the time the app can’t find the controller (when I’m literally standing right next to it). The “help” gives an outdated pdf (that you can’t even print) which provides laughable correction steps like delete and reinstall the app on a different device. Are you kidding me? Hire some real developers and engineers and fix the problem or discontinue your product. So frustrating! ### 2/5 — Avoid *2022-06-30, version 1.7* Always a problem when there is thunderstorm: does not reset automatically as promised. Only the installation pdf comes up when “help” button pressed and it instructs me to unplug snd open unit! What-mine is closed with a dozen screws ! DO NOT BUY!!!! ### 1/5 — Th app works Infrequently *2019-09-12, version 1.7* Settings change sporadically. Lights don’t go on. Or are always on. With no reason. There is little control offered by the app. Very very frustrating. I’d chose differently if I had to chose again. ### 2/5 — Avoid this app and Vista lighting transformers *2019-04-15, version 1.7* Every other review is correct. This app just blows. And since it is the only way to program the Vista vPro outdoor lighting transformer, the vPro also blows. Avoid. Here are the issues * Core functionality is broken. It seems like exiting the app turns the lights on. The step function, a cool test mode that simulates the passage of time so you can see the lights follow their programming, flat our doesn’t work. * Interface is difficult to use even for an experienced and patient user. * So-called ‘Help’ function is a link to PDFs of the install sheet * The system works with a completely open bluetooth network. No security, no linking of devices. Just move near the box with your phone (or any device) and it sets up a bluetooth connection. Really. I’m returning my Vista vPro today. You really have to wonder what else a company that did such a slipshod job with the software necessary to operate their device got wrong. ### 2/5 — Big security hole *2019-02-18, version 1.7* It’s inexplicable that the basis of vPro system operation is a completely open Bluetooth network. Any mischievous party with the app can mess with schedule and voltage settings. The only way to “secure” the system is installing the transformer somewhere on the property out of Bluetooth range from any other neighbour and away from the street. The transformer itself is rock-solid and Vista’s warranty is good. ### 1/5 — VPro *2018-08-20, version 1.6.5* This app and lighting system is absolute crap... it’s never worked properly- I probably should have install my own lighting system & I have no idea how to do it - but I believe it would have worked as well as VPro doesn’t... Buyer’s remorse - the review is forcing me to rate this app/system - I’d rate it zero stars Mr Justin Would you re-release a better version of this App - I won’t even recognize my phone ### 2/5 — So far so so *2018-01-28, version 1.6.5* I like the concept. It works okay when it connects. The blue tooth signal is sketchy. You have to almost be standing on top of it to stay connected. The response/lag time is slow and choppy. If I dim or raise the lights in the app, it takes a while for the lights to catch up. This has the potential to be a pretty amazing app. I hope the developer continues to improve the quality. ### 1/5 — Poor design *2017-12-04, version 1.6.5* Not very user friendly. I have the 2 zone model. I have mosquito repellent linked to one zone and lights to the other. Both zones have to have a program. I should be able to program 1 zone only and leave one manual. Both zones have to run. I’ll turn lights off, shut the app down and the lights turn on. Very confusing. Needs a total revamp.
